MAR10 Day is back on March 10, and this year Nintendo is marking it with a double celebration. It's the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie hits theatres on April 1. There's a lot going on across games, deals, in-store events, and more. Here's everything you need to know.
Play Games Featuring Mario Across the Last 40 Years
Nintendo Switch Online members on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch can play select Super Mario titles. That covers Super NES, Game Boy, NES, and more. On March 10, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members also get access to the Game Boy Advance game Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and two Virtual Boy titles, Mario Clash and Mario's Tennis.
Save on Mario Games From March 5 to 12
Select retailers are offering deals on physical Nintendo Switch games from March 5 to 12, while supplies last. Here's what's on sale:

- Luigi's Mansion 3 – $59.99 CAD

- Mario vs. Donkey Kong – $44.99 CAD
- Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV – $89.99 CAD
If you've been eyeing Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV, this is actually the first time a Nintendo Switch 2 game from Nintendo has gone on sale. You can also grab $25 CAD off the Samsung microSD Express Card – 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing it to $59.99 CAD.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Arrives April 1
Illumination and Nintendo are bringing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie to theatres on April 1. The film features Mario and Luigi alongside Yoshi and Princess Rosalina. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great way to get to know Rosalina before the movie. It's available on Nintendo Switch, with a free update on Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo of Canada will have a booth at select Cineplex theatres from March 6 to 8, and April 3 and 4. You'll be able to play select single-player and multiplayer games on Nintendo Switch 2 at the booth. We've got more details on the Cineplex theatre events here.
Mario Kart World My Nintendo Open Series
Nintendo Switch Online members can jump into a weekly series of online races in Mario Kart World throughout March. Participate in any of the three in-game events and earn 310 My Nintendo Platinum Points just for taking part. If you're not a member yet, a free 7-day trial is available. This applies even if you've claimed one before, as long as your first free trial was after January 12, 2026. More details are available at My.Nintendo.com.
Try Nintendo Switch 2 In Store
