At 4ScarrsGaming, we aim to deliver honest, transparent, and gamer-focused reviews across Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and cloud gaming. This policy explains how our reviews are created and how we approach review copies, scoring, and updates.

How Reviews Are Written

All reviews are based on hands-on gameplay. We complete a meaningful portion of each game and test performance, gameplay flow, accessibility options, technical stability, and overall experience before writing our impressions.

We do not guarantee positivity.
Opinions are never influenced by publishers, developers, or advertisers.
We do not accept payment for positive coverage.

Review Codes & Disclosure

When a review copy is provided by a publisher or PR partner, we include a disclosure note in the article. Receiving a review key does not affect our opinions or scoring.

Our review scores are based on:

Gameplay quality
Story and content
Visuals and performance
Audio
Fun factor
Overall value

Scores reflect the reviewer’s personal experience and may differ from other reviewers or outlets.

Post-Review Updates

If a game receives major patches, fixes, or content updates, we may update the review to reflect significant improvements or changes. Minor updates are not guaranteed full re-evaluation.
