| Bubly’s Super Mario Galaxy Cosmic Swirl sparkling water has started appearing at retail. |
By Jon Scarr
Another Super Mario Galaxy Movie tie-in has quietly surfaced at retail, this time in the beverage aisle.
A listing spotted on the Weis Markets website shows Bubly, The Super Mario Galaxy Cosmic Swirl Sparkling Water in an 8-count pack. There hasn’t been an official announcement tied to it, but the product page is already live and includes movie branding, promotional messaging, and offer dates.
Cosmic Swirl Bubly Listing Includes Promo Dates and Movie Branding
The Weis listing shows the product priced at $4.99 USD per pack, with a promotion running 2 for $9. The offer window shown on the page runs from January 15 to February 11.
The product description also includes direct references to Nintendo + Illumination and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, along with a “Only in theaters” callout. The listing describes the flavour as berry vanilla and notes standard Bubly details like 0 calories and no sweeteners.
Colour-Change Cans and a Bubly Promotion Tie Into the Movie Campaign
Beyond the packaging, the listing calls out a few promotional elements tied to the movie campaign. One is a colour-change can feature that activates when the can is chilled. Another is a Bubly promotion encouraging fans to scan cans to collect Star Bits for a chance to redeem movie-related rewards.
The same section also references a sweepstakes-style promotion with an end date listed as May 8, 2026, along with standard no-purchase-necessary language and eligibility notes. It’s the kind of fine print you typically see once a branded campaign has moved beyond mockups and into active retail planning.
A Familiar Pattern for Super Mario Galaxy Movie Tie-Ins
This Bubly listing fits the same retail-first pattern we’ve been seeing with other Super Mario Galaxy Movie products. Items have been surfacing through store shelves and online listings before any coordinated marketing push fully kicks in.
We saw that earlier with early cereal sightings, and more recently with the Old Spice rollout beginning to appear at retail. On the official side, Nintendo has also been building momentum through the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct, following the initial reveal and the first trailer.
Even outside of retail items, the campaign has been spreading into other lanes, including a new Archie Comics tie-in scheduled for later this spring.
More Retail Listings Are Likely Close Behind
A sparkling water tie-in like this might seem small at first, but alongside cereal, personal care products, and comics, it starts to paint a clearer picture. Nintendo and its partners are steadily rolling out licensed items that keep the movie visible in everyday places, not just in trailers and ads.
Now that it’s appearing at Weis, it’s hard to imagine this staying limited for long. For the moment, the listing offers an early look at how the Super Mario Galaxy Movie campaign is beginning to move beyond traditional marketing and into everyday retail.
If you spot the Cosmic Swirl Bubly pack in-store or see it appear at other retailers, let us know. We’ll keep tracking new retail sightings and tie-ins as they continue surfacing.
