An Old Spice collaboration tied to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is no longer just a rumour. Two branded aluminium free deodorant sticks have now appeared online at retailer H-E-B, and promotional images point to a wider product lineup that looks ready to roll out.

Back in July 2025, an Old Spice x Mario movie partnership was floated as a possibility, but nothing was confirmed. At the time, there were no listings, no product shots, and the movie’s title had not been revealed publicly. Now, the packaging is real, the branding is visible, and retail pages are starting to surface.

Two Mario Movie Deodorants Appear at Retail

The first products to show up are two Old Spice limited edition aluminium free deodorant solids branded for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The names shown on the listings are:

  • Cosmic Quest
  • Desert Detour

Even if the rollout is just beginning, deodorant listings are usually a strong signal that product is either already in distribution or very close. Once one retailer has live pages, it tends to spread quickly across other storefronts and regions.

Promotional Images Suggest a Wider Product Line

Alongside the deodorant listings, multiple promotional images are circulating that show additional The Super Mario Galaxy Movie branded Old Spice items. Based on what appears in the images, this collaboration looks bigger than a single two-item drop.

Several products appear to be included across deodorant and body care categories, with different scent names and Mario movie branding on the packaging. Some images also suggest character tie-ins beyond Mario, which usually means a broader retail push instead of a one-off novelty item.

From Rumour to Retail Reality

What makes this rollout notable is how long the collaboration lingered as an unconfirmed rumour. When reports first surfaced in July 2025, even the Super Mario Galaxy Movie title had not been revealed publicly. There were no retail listings, no packaging, and no official confirmations to point to.

That has now changed. With branded deodorants appearing online and additional products shown across official-looking promotional materials, the collaboration has clearly moved from speculation into reality. If you follow Nintendo licensing closely, this fits a familiar pattern. Mario movie collaborations often extend well beyond toys, reaching into areas like apparel, food, and personal care as studios and partners aim for broader mainstream visibility.

More Products Could Be Close Behind

At this stage, Old Spice and Nintendo have not commented publicly on the collaboration, and no full product list or release window has been shared. Still, the appearance of deodorants at retail, combined with the range of other items already pictured, strongly suggests more products are on the way.

As additional items begin showing up in stores, the full scope of the collaboration should become clearer. For now, all signs point to a wider Old Spice x The Super Mario Galaxy Movie lineup that’s only just starting to roll out. We’ll continue tracking new retail sightings and updates as they appear.
