ATLUS has confirmed Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 are both coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Persona 4 Revival launches on the system May 20, 2027, while Persona 6 does not have a release date yet on Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcements came during today's Nintendo Direct. They expand ATLUS' Nintendo Switch 2 lineup alongside Metaphor: ReFantazio, which arrives November 12.
Persona 6 Gets a Nintendo Switch 2 Version
Persona 6 is the next main entry in the series and starts a completely new standalone story with a new cast. ATLUS says the familiar mix of daily life, relationships and supernatural adventure will return.
For Nintendo fans, the important part is that Persona 6 is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2. ATLUS just isn't ready to say when yet.
Persona 4 Revival Arrives May 20, 2027
Persona 4 Revival has a firmer plan. ATLUS describes it as a modernized remake of Persona 4, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving May 20, 2027.
The game returns to the rural town of Inaba, where a teenage transfer student joins the Investigation Team. Together, they investigate a series of murders connected to the mysterious Midnight Channel.
The Nintendo Switch 2 release comes after the February 18 launch on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Arrives November 12
ATLUS is also bringing Metaphor: ReFantazio to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026. Pre-orders for that version are already open.
That gives Nintendo Switch 2 three major ATLUS RPGs either confirmed or dated. Metaphor: ReFantazio arrives in November, Persona 4 Revival follows in May, and Persona 6 is now officially on the way.
