Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” launches September 28 with Pearl joining the playable roster and a new mission inside Astropolis’ Life Sciences Institute. HoYoverse has also confirmed that Ellen and Astra Yao from Zenless Zone Zero will join Honkai: Star Rail in Version 4.8.
The story continues after Nihilux revealed her identity as Aha, the Aeon of Elation. The Trailblazer heads deeper into Astropolis with Pearl to investigate Madam Yabuli’s plan to “weaponize the husk” and stop the threat facing Planarcadia.
Pearl Joins the Life Sciences Institute Mission
Madam Yabuli, head of the IPC’s Technology Department, is behind the plan at the centre of Version 4.6. Her attempt to weaponize the husk would come at the cost of every life in Planarcadia, and she is also suspected of having ties to a mysterious faction that worships the Voracity.
Pearl uses the recovery of Leviathan Essence as cover to send Kuchiba and Ashveil into the Life Sciences Institute. They join the Trailblazer and Nihilux as the investigation moves deeper into Yabuli’s operation.
Pearl becomes playable as a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation. Certified Banger can offset a portion of damage for the team, while Deep Learning studies a designated teammate’s combat data and gives Pearl a corresponding Enhanced ATK.
If that teammate is an Elation character, Pearl’s Enhanced ATK deals additional Elation damage. If the entire team consists of Elation characters, the designated teammate also gains an extra turn along with more Punchline and Certified Banger.
Pearl and her limited 5-star Light Cone, Colors for Tomorrow, have increased drop rates throughout Version 4.6. Evanescia returns during the first half, followed by Mortenax Blade in the second half.
Version 4.6 Adds New Events and Outfits
In Love, Ghosts & Robots, the Trailblazer helps the resurrected Skott run a mechatron workshop. Interastral Peace Gala: One Take adds a combat reality show event, and Astral Imagea introduces companions that can travel with you.
Astral Imageas can also join the Astral Slammers Squad! co-op challenge with friends. Hyacine’s Warm Cotton Skies outfit and Evanescia’s Lunar Blossoming outfit will both arrive in the Outfit Show Window.
HoYoverse has also announced a Razer collaboration based on Silver Wolf LV.999. The collection includes a gaming chair, keyboard, mouse and headset planned for multiple regions, with more details still to come.
Ellen and Astra Yao Confirmed for Version 4.8
Ellen and Astra Yao are the two Zenless Zone Zero characters confirmed for the Honkai: Star Rail collaboration. Both are scheduled to join Honkai: Star Rail in Version 4.8.
Before then, Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6 launches September 28 on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5.
