HoYoverse has announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3, The Lethe Below the Living, and the next update launches on June 1, 2026. The new version continues the Planarcadia story with Mortenax Blade taking a central role as the Trailblazer heads deeper into the World in Canvas.
Version 4.3 includes Mortenax Blade’s debut as a 5-star Fire-Type Nihility character, extra Stellar Jade rewards through Starward Mode, the Wispae Amusement Park event, rerun Warps for Yao Guang, Cyrene, and Phainon, plus summer 2026 details for the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration.
Mortenax Blade Takes Version 4.3 Into The World In Canvas
Version 4.3 continues the Planarcadia arc by tying Blade’s past directly to the World in Canvas. At the end of that realm sits the divine husk of the Aeon known as the Voracity, an ancient being connected to desire and devouring. Blade is seeking the Voracity’s power to melt away the Shuhu inside his body and end the curse he has carried for so long.
The Trailblazer also heads to Inkford Hermitage, the boundary between this life and the World in Canvas, to warn Graphia about the threat of Asat Pramad. Graphia, known as the Mother of Imagenesis, is tied to the Murata family’s Weathering Curse.

Blade’s Fire Nihility Kit Builds Off Ally Attacks
Mortenax Blade debuts as a 5-star Fire-Type character who follows the Path of Nihility. His Ultimate, Fornax Ex Corpore, creates a Bounded Field before shifting him into an enhanced state. Enemies affected by the Bounded Field take increased DMG.
His enhanced state unlocks his Skill, which uses a Sword Formation to deal more DMG and gives him access to a stronger Ultimate. Ally attacks also place a debuff on the enemy target and build Charge for Mortenax Blade. Once that Charge is full, he automatically triggers a Skill use and regenerates extra Energy.
Mortenax Blade’s kit is built around ally attacks feeding back into his own turns. That gives him a clear team role instead of making him feel like a character who only comes alive when his own action comes up.

Yao Guang Kicks Off The Version 4.3 Warp Schedule
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3’s Warp schedule brings back Yao Guang during the first half of the update. Cyrene and Phainon return in the second half.
If you’re saving Warps, the split is simple: Yao Guang arrives first, with Cyrene and Phainon following in the second half of Version 4.3.
The Gift of Tempered Blade event is tied to Mortenax Blade as well. After obtaining him from Warping, you can claim the Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore Trailblaze Outfit piece for free.

Starward Mode Adds More Stellar Jade Rewards
Version 4.3 adds Starward Mode to Apocalyptic Shadow, Memory of Chaos, and Pure Fiction. In this mode, you set up three teams to take on three different stages.
Clearing each gameplay mode with full stars gives an extra 100 Stellar Jades per phase. Across all three modes, that adds up to 300 additional Stellar Jades total.
The Wispae Amusement Park event also arrives in the World in Canvas. The Trailblazer takes on the role of Chief Planner, maps visitor routes, and places amusement rides across themed zones to bring wispae into the park.
Gilgamesh And Rin Tohsaka Get Summer Collaboration Details
The Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration is also getting another update in summer 2026. Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka have now been shown through new character cards, giving fans their first look at the next part of the crossover.
During the collaboration period, logging in gives you a chance to obtain Gilgamesh or Archer for free. HoYoverse has not shared the full reward conditions yet, so the exact claim process is still to come.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 launches June 1, 2026, and it gives Honkai: Star Rail another busy update built around Blade’s fate, a new Fire Nihility character, extra Stellar Jade rewards, and a summer crossover that now has Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka in view.
