Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2, “Their Secret Histories,” launches September 9 with Claret and Roxy joining the Agent roster. The update also introduces Armorer, the game's first new Agent Specialty since launch.
Claret is an S-Rank Electric Armorer Agent and arrives during the first half of Version 3.2. Roxy follows in the second half as an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent. Their arrival brings Flint Workshop into the playable roster as the story moves deeper into Vyrium.
Claret Introduces the Armorer Specialty
Armorer is built around offence and defence, with new Maim and multi-CRIT mechanics at the centre of the Specialty. Armorer Agents can also trigger Counter Assist against certain enemy Control Skills. That adds another defensive response to specific attacks.
Claret is the first Agent to use the Specialty. Her attacks build Gash on enemies, and specific skills can trigger Maim once that effect is fully applied. Her damage scales from DEF, while CRIT Rate above 100 percent feeds into the new multi-CRIT mechanic.
That makes Claret the first look at how an Armorer build will work in practice. Her exclusive Signal Search runs during the first half of Version 3.2.
Roxy Brings Wind Stun to Flint Workshop
Roxy is Flint Workshop's chief smith and Claret's assistant in the Version 3.2 story. Her Wind Stun kit revolves around Eyes of the Storm. Holding her EX Special Attack creates a tornado that can later combine with other Eyes of the Storm into a larger attack.
Roxy's exclusive Signal Search opens in the second half of the update. Nangong Yu returns during the first half, while Promeia returns during the second half. Their corresponding Exclusive W-Engines also return.
The story takes Proxies back to Vyrium in the Shrouded Reef. A shipment of Porcelloy from Flint Workshop disappears during transit, pulling Claret and Roxy into the investigation. That case also connects with the continuing threat around Roscaelifer and TOPS.
Version 3.2 Adds Rewards and System Updates
Logging in during Version 3.2 will provide a cumulative total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. The 14-day Surprise Screening Plan also lets Proxies select one Angels of Delusion outfit. Another outfit can be earned through the Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight event.
The Beginner Guide is expanding to include Jane, Hugo and Soldier 0 – Anby. Anyone who didn't use the Agent self-select perk in Version 3.1 can choose one of those Agents after the update. Completing the Guide's Phase 2 missions also unlocks a choice of the corresponding Exclusive W-Engine.
Koleda is receiving an enhancement as well. Perfect Assist indicators are changing so gold flashes consistently trigger Defensive Assist and red flashes trigger Evasive Assist.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 launches September 9 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX Cloud Gaming, PC, iOS and Android. On PC, Zenless Zone Zero is available through the HoYoverse client, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
