| Spin Master is going big with the interactive sets for the new PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie wave. |
By Juli Scarr
I’ve been around PAW Patrol enough to know that when the pups head to a new location, a massive wave of toys isn't far behind. With a son named Mario, my living room has seen its fair share of rescue missions and headquarters built out of cardboard boxes. The latest reveal from Spin Master for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie brings big sets and some interesting interactive features that transition directly from the screen to the playroom floor.
Back in February, we saw an early look at some of these items during Toy Fair, but the full lineup is much larger than those initial previews suggested. The collection matches the scale of the film arriving on August 14, 2026, and it follows the broader 2026 toy lineup strategy of focusing on high-impact, tactile play.
Transforming HQ and Inflatable Dino Features
The centerpiece of this new wave is the Dino Mobile HQ. It functions as a 2-in-1 command center that transforms when you lift the main unit. At a price point of $79.99 USD, it's clearly the big gift item for the summer. It comes with Chase and his vehicle, along with a ramp launcher that works with the existing basic vehicles you likely already have in your bin. This move toward more complex, multi-stage toys reminds me of the recent Hatchin’ Yoshi reveal where the interaction begins before the toy is even fully out of the box.
One of the more creative additions is Rocky’s Megasaurus Dino Vehicle. I like the idea of the inflatable mechanic here. When you hit the light bar, a two-foot inflatable dinosaur pops out of the recycling truck. Being able to pack the dino back in and repeat the process is a smart move. It gives kids a reason to keep playing with the truck long after the first reveal. That one hits retail at $64.99 USD.
For those looking for something smaller, the movie-exclusive themed vehicles for all six pups are returning at $15.99 USD each. These have rugged wheels meant for different terrains, which makes sense given the island setting of the movie.

Volcano Eruptions and Brachiosaurus Rescue Missions
The playsets focus on specific locations from the film. The Super Lava Blast Playset recreates the volcano with 360-degree play areas and a TNT box that triggers a light-up eruption. It retails for $49.99 USD and includes a Marshall figure that can climb the volcano walls.
The Lift and Race Dino Playset is another interesting one. It uses a 10-inch Brachiosaurus as a ramp layout. You lift a Pup Squad Racer up the neck and let it zoom down. At $32.99 USD, it's a good middle-ground option that doesn’t take up as much floor space as the Mobile HQ but still offers that sense of scale kids want from a dinosaur theme.
Cuddly Pups and Role Play Gear
Spin Master isn’t ignoring the softer side of the franchise either. The GUND Movie Plush line includes 6-inch and 9-inch versions of the pups in their new uniforms. There's also a larger 10-inch Marshall Deluxe Plush for $21.99 USD that makes sounds and has a glowing badge when you squeeze his tummy.
The Melissa & Doug partnership is also continuing with a 16-piece Dino Adventure Role Play set. I find these sets are usually great for car rides because they use the Water WOW! technology that doesn't leave a mess. This one includes a pup pad, mission cards, and a telescope for $32.99 USD.

The PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie Toy Collection Is Going to Take Over Your Living Room This Summer
The full PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie toy collection arrives at major retailers on July 1, 2026. This gives you about six weeks to get your hands on them before the movie hits theaters in August. If your house is anything like mine, you’re probably going to see a lot of these dinosaurs before the summer is over.
