This Fest Is for Pure Tower Defense Games
Steam's Tower Defense Fest keeps its focus narrow. This is not for games that have tower defense elements on the side. The event is built specifically for games where placing and managing stationary units against waves of enemies coming in predictable patterns is the whole point.
The range is wider than you might expect. The trailer showcases minimalist strategy games, medieval fantasy worlds, auto battlers, base builders with combat, and even a game featuring 3D monkey towers. Enemies include aliens, goblins, and fluid. Yes, fluid.

The official trailer confirms the following titles are featured in the event:
- Orcs Must Die! 3 — A third-person action tower defense game where you set traps and fight alongside them to stop orc invasions.
- Age of Darkness: Final Stand — A dark fantasy survival strategy game where you defend your base against massive monster hordes each night.
- Thronefall — A minimalist kingdom defense game focused on building during the day and fighting off attackers at night.
