| Screamer and Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 headline the latest batch of games joining the cloud on GeForce NOW. |
By Jon Scarr
I love it when the cloud brings back a classic. This week's GFN Thursday feels like a trip to a neon arcade from the 90s. We've got five new games joining the GeForce NOW library this week. The headliner's a name that long-time racing fans'll definitely recognize.
Milestone's bringing Screamer back to the track. I remember the original 1995 game for its high speed and arcade attitude. This new version takes those retro roots and gives them a modern overhaul. The new effects and neon-lit tracks look like a serious upgrade. If you're on the top membership tier, you can push those graphics to the limit without needing a high-end PC at home.
Arcade racers like this rely on quick reactions for every turn. The setup here's designed to keep those drifts and corners feeling as snappy as they did in the original 90s release. It's the kind of high-speed play that really makes a move to modern hardware worth it.
For anyone else who spends way too much time out in the stars, today's update is a must. Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1's officially here. This update takes the Astral Express crew to the Star Rail FEST celebration. I'm interested in Ashveil, the new five-star Lightning hunter. You can check out the new zones and characters in the latest update in our full breakdown. There are new areas to explore and missions to finish without any long installation times.
New Games on GeForce NOW This Week
The library grows with a mix of new releases and hits from other platforms. Here's everything joining GeForce NOW this week:
- Screamer (New release on Steam, March 26, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
- King’s Quest (New release on Ubisoft Connect, March 25)
- BATTLETECH (Xbox, on PC Game Pass)
- Despot’s Game (Xbox, on Microsoft Store)
- Diablo II: Resurrected (Steam)
I'll probably end up playing BATTLETECH more on my phone than my actual PC. It's just a lot more convenient for me to check in on my mechs when I'm on the move. I'm happy to see more PC Game Pass titles like this joining the service.

| Detective Ashveil arrives as the new five-star Lightning hunter in the latest Honkai Star Rail update. |
The latest update for Honkai: Star Rail brings a lot more than just one character. You can dive into the Wispae War Saga or check out the new content in the Divergent Universe. I’m definitely going to see these new zones on a big screen with the graphics turned all the way up. It’s much better than my own hardware trying to keep up with the new lighting and effects.
What are you planning to play this weekend? I know I'll spend time drifting through the streets in Screamer. Let me know your picks in the comments below!
