Jakks Pacific has officially revealed its full toy lineup for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, offering a clear look at how the film’s characters, locations, and vehicles will translate into physical form. The new collection spans multiple scales, playsets, plush, and retailer exclusives, with preorders already beginning through Walmart in the US.

This shows the Super Mario Galaxy Movie toy rollout is following the same pattern Jakks Pacific used for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, where figures, playsets, and plush arrived in waves rather than all at once.

Multiple Figure Scales Anchor the Lineup

The core of the lineup centers on a new series of 5-inch articulated figures, each featuring between 10 and 22 points of articulation. The first wave includes Mario, Yoshi, Rosalina, and Bowser Jr., along with a Target-exclusive four-pack featuring Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Bowser Jr. Individual figures are priced at $19.99 USD, while the four-pack is set at $59.99 USD.

Jakks Pacific is also introducing smaller figure formats. Walmart-exclusive 2.5-inch figures feature Mario and Luigi riding pull-back motorcycles and are priced at $14.99 USD each.

At the smallest scale, the 1.5-inch mini figures include Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Bowser Jr., and Wonder Bowser Jr., each packaged with spring-loaded Star Launcher accessories and priced at $6.99 USD.

Playsets Bring Galaxy Locations Into Physical Form

Beyond individual figures, the lineup includes several playsets that translate key Galaxy elements into interactive environments.

The Yoshi Egg Playset opens from a closed egg into a double-sided environment and includes exclusive Yoshi and Fire Mario figures. It is priced at $29.99 USD.

The Deluxe Bowser Castle Playset stands 12 inches tall and features three separate levels that can be split apart. The set includes interactive elements and an exclusive Bowser figure and is priced at $39.99 USD.

The Gateway Galaxy Diorama Set includes Warp Pipes, a moving R.O.B. accessory, and exclusive Captain Toad and Princess Peach figures. It is priced at $19.99 USD.

These sets reflect Galaxy-specific themes, focusing on transformation, exploration, and layered environments rather than static backdrops.

Plush and Collectible Items Expand the Range

Jakks Pacific is also releasing multiple plush formats tied to the film.

Standard plush characters include Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Princess Peach. These plush feature molded heads paired with soft bodies and are priced at $14.99 USD each.

At the larger end of the scale, Target-exclusive posable plush versions of Fire Mario and Fire Luigi measure 14 inches tall and include articulated limbs. Each is priced at $29.99 USD.

Additional collectibles include glow-in-the-dark Luma-themed yo-yos, priced at $4.99 USD, expanding the lineup beyond traditional figures and playsets.

Retail Exclusives and Canadian Availability

Retail exclusivity plays a major role in how the lineup is being distributed.

Walmart will carry exclusive versions of select figures and vehicles in the United States, including the Bowser Jr. figure with punching Clown Car. Walmart-exclusive items are scheduled to begin arriving at U.S. retail on February 20. These same Walmart-exclusive items have historically appeared through Walmart Canada as well, but Canadian availability and pricing have not been announced.

Target will carry exclusive plush and multi-figure sets. Since Target does not operate in Canada, those Target-exclusive items have historically been sold through Toys“R”Us Canada. With the future of Toys“R”Us Canada currently uncertain, those same Target-exclusive items may instead appear through EB Games Canada, which has continued expanding its Nintendo toy and collectible lineup. However, no Canadian retailer has confirmed availability for these exclusives at this time.

Based on past Mario toy launches, Canadian listings typically follow once U.S. retail rollout begins, but for now, all confirmed pricing and release timing applies only to the U.S. market.

More Super Mario Galaxy Movie Toys Are Likely on the Way

Jakks Pacific handled the toy line for The Super Mario Bros. Movie using a phased release structure, with new figures and playsets arriving steadily over time rather than all at once. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie lineup appears to be following that same strategy.

This reveal also follows other recent toy announcements tied to the film. Spin Master recently introduced its interactive Hatchin’ Yoshi toy, which recreates the moment Yoshi emerges from his egg through touch and motion. Together, these releases show how multiple partners are preparing products to arrive alongside the movie’s theatrical debut.

The scale of the lineup, combined with retailer exclusives and multiple figure formats, suggests that additional waves and character releases are already planned.

As more figures, playsets, and exclusives begin appearing at retail, we’ll keep tracking new listings, Canadian availability, and additional waves as the Super Mario Galaxy Movie rollout expands.
