If you’ve got any history with Jersey Shore, Paramount+ is giving you a familiar face in a new setting. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is set to make several guest appearances in Canada Shore, which premieres January 22 on Paramount+.
The new Canadian series drops with two back-to-back episodes and marks the first Canadian edition of MTV’s long-running “Shore” franchise. Snooki won’t be a full-time cast member, but she’ll pop in across multiple episodes, bringing her experience from the original series to a new group of Canadian roommates.
Snooki’s Role in Canada Shore
During her appearances, Snooki steps into a mentor-style role. She hands out job duties, checks in on the house, and offers advice shaped by years of Shore chaos. Paramount+ describes her as bringing her “Shore expertise” to the group, helping guide the season’s energy rather than driving it herself.
When Snooki isn’t around, Kelowna native Dane Rupert, also known as the Prince of Kelowna, keeps things moving as her stand-in. He’s positioned as the one keeping an eye on the house and nudging the roommates back on track when things spiral, or letting the chaos run when it suits the moment.
What Canada Shore Is About
Canada Shore brings together 10 Canadian roommates from across the country, all living together in Kelowna, British Columbia. Like earlier Shore series, the focus is on relationships, nightlife, and the messiness that comes with throwing very different personalities into one house for a summer.
Between parties and conflicts, the show leans into the same rhythm longtime fans will recognize: friendships forming, tensions boiling over, and the house slowly turning into a family, for better or worse.
The cast was selected through a nationwide casting call and filmed last summer in Kelowna. This season marks their first on-screen introduction to audiences.
