Capcom has announced a dedicated showcase for Resident Evil Requiem, set to air on January 15 at 2:00 PM PT. The presentation will stream on Capcom’s official Twitch channel and is expected to run for approximately 12 minutes.

The showcase arrives just weeks before the game’s February 27 launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, positioning it as Capcom’s final major update ahead of release.

What Capcom Has Confirmed So Far

According to Capcom, the stream will include new gameplay footage and additional updates tied to Resident Evil Requiem. The publisher has also confirmed that co-streaming and live reactions are encouraged, signalling that this is meant to be a broader community moment rather than a tightly controlled reveal.

Teaser material released so far highlights familiar elements from the series, including Leon and a darker, more grounded tone that blends classic Raccoon City–style horror with more modern action-driven design.

Teasers Are Already Fueling Fan Discussion

Although Capcom has kept specific details under wraps, early footage has sparked discussion among fans. Brief shots have drawn attention to a hooded figure that some believe could be Grace Ashcroft, along with first-person shooting sequences and flashes of red ammunition that have prompted theories involving long-standing characters such as Ada Wong or Claire Redfield.

For now, Capcom has not confirmed any of these details, making the January 15 showcase the first opportunity to see what elements are actually part of the final game.

A Final Look Before Release

With launch approaching quickly, the Resident Evil Requiem showcase appears designed to clarify how the next mainline entry fits into the broader Resident Evil timeline while setting expectations for tone, perspective, and gameplay structure.

This article will be updated following the showcase with confirmed details, gameplay impressions, and any major announcements shared during the stream.
