A new original action RPG made its first appearance during The Game Awards 2025. Stupid Never Dies, a 3D action RPG from GPTRACK50 Inc., was officially revealed with a teaser trailer that set the tone for its world and characters.

GPTRACK50 Inc. is a NetEase studio led by industry veteran Hiroyuki Kobayashi. The team includes developers whose past credits span series like Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma, and Resident Evil. While Stupid Never Dies is a new IP, its reveal leans on that action-focused pedigree.

A Music Video-Style Teaser Introduces the Lead Characters

The teaser trailer for Stupid Never Dies takes an unusual approach. Presented in a music video style, it introduces the zombie protagonist Davy and the human heroine Julia as they perform to the game’s theme song.

Rather than focusing on combat or exploration, the footage highlights personality and chemistry. The fast-paced pop-punk track drives the trailer, giving a sense of the game’s energetic spirit and the relationship between its two central characters.

Blazing Fast Growth and a World Full of Monsters

According to GPTRACK50, Stupid Never Dies is built around a concept the studio calls “Blazing Fast Growth.” The label is being used to describe its take on the 3D action RPG genre.

In the game, Davy is joined by a group of unique allies as he ventures into another world. Enemy monsters include werewolves, lizardmen, and skeletons, presented as part of the game’s own interpretation of action RPG staples.

Stupid Never Dies is planned for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with more details to be revealed in future updates.
