Nintendo Canada is closing out the year with a new round of Boxing Week deals, giving you another chance to save if you missed the earlier holiday sales. The focus this time is clear and practical. Hardware bundles with added value, a strong mix of discounted physical games, and a wide digital sale running into early January.
If you followed Nintendo’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers earlier this fall, this Boxing Week lineup feels like a continuation rather than a repeat. Some bundles return with familiar pricing, while the game deals rotate to a new selection across both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
There’s also more flexibility than usual. Whether you want a physical copy from a local retailer, a digital deal on the Nintendo eShop, or a chance to try Nintendo Switch 2 games in person before buying, Nintendo is covering all three angles heading into the new year.
Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Boxing Week Bundles
Nintendo is once again highlighting two hardware bundles for Boxing Week, both offering added value compared to buying items separately.
The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle is available for $699.99 CAD. It includes a digital copy of Mario Kart World, which recently won Best Sports/Racing Game at The Game Awards 2025. This bundle offers $39.99 in added value.
For those looking for a more family-focused option, the Nintendo Switch + Nintendo Switch Sports + Leg Strap Bundle returns at $419.99 CAD. This Canada-exclusive bundle includes a total added value of $69.98 and remains one of the more accessible entry points for shared play at home.
Boxing Week Game Deals at Canadian Retailers
Starting December 24, select Nintendo Switch games drop to $59.99 CAD, representing a $25 savings per title at participating Canadian retailers.
The confirmed lineup includes:
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Super Mario Odyssey
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
- Super Mario RPG
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Nintendo also notes that many of these discounted games include free updates when played on Nintendo Switch 2.
Additional savings are available on select Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games, including NBA 2K26, Split Fiction, EA Sports Madden 26, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and WWE 2K25. Specific pricing varies by retailer.
Hits for the Holidays Sale on Nintendo eShop
Digital buyers can also take advantage of Nintendo’s Hits for the Holidays Sale on the Nintendo eShop. The sale runs from December 22 at 9:00 a.m. PT through January 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
During this window, Nintendo is offering up to 50% off a wide selection of Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch digital titles. Highlighted games include:
- Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition
- Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition
- EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition
For anyone building a digital library or planning to move between systems, this sale lines up well with Nintendo’s ongoing support for Nintendo Switch 2 upgrades.
Nintendo Switch 2 Storage Deals and In-Store Demos
Nintendo is also promoting a $25 CAD discount on the Samsung microSD Express Card – 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2, available at select retailers. It’s a useful option for expanding storage if you plan to grab multiple digital games during the Boxing Week sales.
In addition, Nintendo of Canada is hosting Nintendo Switch 2 in-store demos at select EB Games, Walmart, Best Buy, and London Drugs locations. These demo stations let you try games like Mario Kart World, Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Kirby Air Riders, and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 before deciding what to buy.
Closing Out 2025 with Nintendo
Nintendo’s Boxing Week deals feel like a solid second chance to wrap up the year. If Black Friday came and went too quickly, this lineup still covers hardware, physical games, digital discounts, and hands-on demos without pushing you toward a single buying path.
I like that Nintendo continues leaning into in-store demos. Being able to try Nintendo Switch 2 games before buying still matters, especially with new hardware. Keeping the bundles available also helps, since not everyone is ready to jump in during November.
If you’re heading into the new year with gift cards, planning a system upgrade, or looking to fill gaps in your library, this Boxing Week window gives you plenty of ways to do it.
