Genshin Impact and Duolingo are teaming up for a crossover that mixes language learning with collectible rewards. Starting December 8, users in select regions can participate in a limited-time 3-Day Streak Quest inside the Duolingo app and earn cosmetics and goodies for miHoYo’s RPG. The event runs until December 27, giving fans of both apps a window to join in.

This new promotion brings fan-favourite characters Tighnari, Cyno, and Paimon into Duolingo “lessons” alongside the green owl mascot Duo. Learners will see the characters pop up as they work through daily exercises. The challenge is simple , complete one learning unit per day across three days to unlock the rewards bundle.

Those who finish the streak receive a few exclusive bonuses. According to the announcement, the in-game bundle includes the avatar “Diligent Study,” themed namecard “Celebration: Dream Reader,” and a Sumeru-style dish called “Spiced Fried Chicken,” complete with its recipe. There’s also a collectible statue inside Duolingo featuring Paimon and Duo as a nod to finishing the streak. Reward codes can be claimed in the Duolingo Shop menu until December 30, 2025, and must be redeemed in Genshin Impact before January 31, 2026.

This collaboration arrives shortly after the release of Genshin Impact Version Luna III. That update added Durin, a new 5-Star Pyro character with dual forms, along with a new story chapter in Nod-Krai.

How the Genshin Impact x Duolingo Event Works

Here’s the key timing to remember if you plan to take part:

  • The quest runs from December 8 to December 27
  • December 25 is the last day you can start the streak and still complete it
  • Event availability may differ by region, so users should check Duolingo for confirmation
  • Items must be claimed in Duolingo before December 30 and redeemed in Genshin Impact before January 31

Duolingo is known for turning learning into bite-sized gamified lessons, covering languages, music, math, and even chess. Genshin Impact continues expanding Teyvat across consoles, PC, and mobile with cross-play and Co-Op options, so this collaboration feels like an easy, playful way for fans to log in for both apps at once.

The Genshin Impact x Duolingo quest feels made for anyone who loves collecting cosmetics or just wants to see Paimon nag them about lessons for once. It’s only a three-day streak, so you can dip in without much commitment. Honestly, I’m tempted to try it myself just to watch Duo and Paimon share a screen. That combo alone is worth a quick look.

Are you jumping in for the rewards, the streak challenge, or to see Paimon cheer on Duo’s lessons? Let me know. I’m curious if anyone actually keeps their streak afterwards.
