Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 - Against All Fate launches September 9 with a Honkai Impact 3rd crossover bringing new content to Multiplayer and Battle Royale. The collaboration introduces a roguelike top-down Multiplayer mode, a limited-time Battle Royale activity, themed Operator Draws, and the first Mythic Weapons Series Armory.
Season 8 also adds the ISO Hemlock Assault Rifle and Static-HV SMG. A new Battle Pass and Challenge Pass round out the update, but the Honkai Impact 3rd crossover is the main event.
Honkai Impact 3rd Brings a New Multiplayer Mode
The crossover introduces a roguelike top-down shooter mode where up to three people team up across three maps. You’ll fight waves of monsters from above before taking on a final boss.
Elite Chests provide upgrades during each run. These include Weapon Traits, Stigmata, and Chips, while randomized drops change what you have available each time. That gives each run a different mix of upgrades and gear to work with.
The top-down perspective also changes how Call of Duty: Mobile normally plays. Honkai Impact 3rd elements are worked directly into the mode through its enemies and upgrade systems.
The Crossover Extends Into Battle Royale and Rewards
Battle Royale gets its own limited-time Honkai Impact 3rd activity with the Quantum Platform on Isolated. Squads complete a map-wide contract to find a teleporter and defend it while it charges. Stepping through sends the squad into another fight against crossover enemies, with high-quality loot waiting at the end.
Season 8 also introduces the Free Mythic Event, a multi-season challenge tied to the new Mythic Weapons Series Armory. The Armory includes three Mythic Weapons. They are the ISO Hemlock - Core of Thunder, Static-HV - Core of Fire, and BAL-27 - Core of Reason.
A separate themed event adds the Scylla - Rita Rossweisse Operator Skin, Scythe - Aphrodite Scythe Melee Blueprint, and Camo - Rosette Runners. Three Honkai Impact 3rd Operator Draws will also pair Legendary Operators with Legendary Weapons.
Outside the crossover, the Against All Fate Battle Pass introduces the ISO Hemlock for mid-range fights. The Season 8 Challenge Pass adds the Static-HV, an aggressive SMG with a 50-round magazine and high fire rate.
