PlayStation has announced a Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 collection launching alongside the game on September 15, 2026. The lineup includes a Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition bundle, matching DualSense wireless controller and console covers, along with separate metallic Adamantium PS5 Pro covers and a matching DualSense.
Preorders begin August 19, with PlayStation Canada confirming the same date for Canadian fans. PlayStation’s announcement does not list Canadian pricing or participating Canadian retailers, but the hardware will be available in limited quantities.
Battle Yellow Comes As A PS5 Bundle And Standalone Accessories
The centrepiece of the collection is the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle. Inspired by Wolverine's Battle Reborn suit and claws, the yellow console features claw marks across its exterior that expose portions of the design underneath.
The bundle includes the limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition, a matching Battle Yellow DualSense wireless controller and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine.
The Battle Yellow DualSense will also be sold separately, while matching console covers are coming for both PS5 slim models and PS5 Pro. The covers support consoles with or without disc drives where applicable.
PlayStation also worked with Scottish graphic artist Jock on the collection. Jock contributed key art for Marvel’s Wolverine and collaborated on the limited-edition hardware designs.
Adamantium Is A Separate PS5 Pro Design
PS5 Pro owners are getting another option inspired by the adamantium bonded to Wolverine's skeleton and claws.
The Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition PS5 Pro console covers replace the yellow finish with a metallic look while keeping the claw-slashed design. A matching Adamantium Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller will also be sold separately.
PlayStation lists Adamantium only as PS5 Pro console covers and a standalone DualSense rather than a separate console bundle.
I like that PlayStation didn't simply carry the same yellow design across everything. The Adamantium version feels especially fitting for Wolverine, and it looks noticeably different from the main collection.
Preorders Start August 19 Ahead Of Wolverine’s September Launch
Preorders for the Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 bundle and accessories begin August 19. PlayStation Canada has also confirmed that Canadian preorders will go live that day, although PlayStation’s announcement does not list Canadian pricing or participating Canadian retailers.
In the United States, the Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition bundle is priced at $649.99 USD, while both limited-edition DualSense controllers are $84.99 USD each. All three console cover options are $74.99 USD each. Those are US prices and shouldn't be treated as Canadian pricing.
The collection will be available beginning September 15 in limited quantities, the same day Marvel’s Wolverine launches on PS5. We previously covered the game's September release date along with more details on Insomniac Games' take on Logan.
With a themed PS5 bundle, two DualSense designs and multiple console cover options, this is considerably more than a single themed accessory. For anyone hoping to grab part of the collection in Canada, August 19 is the date to watch while we wait for local pricing and retailer details.
