Piko Interactive Collection 1 is back on Evercade three years after the original cartridge entered Legacy status.
The revised edition launched August 28 with an updated cover and a 19-game lineup. More importantly for Evercade's physical catalogue, this is the first cartridge previously classified as Legacy to return to the active range.
Evercade Brings Its First Legacy Cartridge Back
Legacy status has a specific meaning for Evercade cartridges. When a licensing agreement expires, Blaze can no longer manufacture additional copies of that version. Remaining stock can still be sold, but once it is gone, that release is normally finished.
The original Piko Interactive Collection 1 moved into Legacy status in 2023.
This revised edition does more than put the previous cartridge back into production. Blaze has changed the game lineup, updated the cover to the current Evercade design, and returned it as Home Console Cartridge #09.
It is also the first time an Evercade Legacy cartridge has returned to the active range. That means a discontinued collection is not necessarily gone permanently if Blaze can arrange a new agreement and revised edition.
The Revised Collection Includes 19 Games
Piko Interactive Collection 1 spans 8-bit and 16-bit console games across RPGs, platformers, fighting games, racing, adventure, and puzzle releases.

Games such as Dragon View, The Immortal, Radical Rex, Top Racer, and Jim Power: The Lost Dimension give the collection a broad mix of genres and console eras.
Piko Interactive Collection 1 Is Available Now
The revised cartridge works with Evercade VS-R, Evercade Nexus, Evercade EXP-R, Evercade Alpha, and HyperMegaTech! Super Pocket.
Pricing is £24.99 in the UK, US$29.99 in the United States, and €29.99 in Europe.
Piko Interactive Collection 1 launched alongside Visco Arcade 1 and Visco Arcade 2 on August 28, giving Evercade three physical cartridge releases on the same day.
For anyone who missed cartridge #09 before it was discontinued, the reissue puts it back into circulation with a revised 19-game lineup. It also gives Evercade its first example of a Legacy cartridge returning to the active range.
