Five new LEGO Pokémon sets are coming to Canada in 2026. LEGO Pokémon Munchlax, Arcanine, and Rayquaza arrive August 1. The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball and Up-Scaled Red Minifigure follow on October 1.
Canadian prices range from $99.99 to $419.99. The 2,386-piece Poké Ball opens into Professor Oak’s Laboratory and a Pokémon battle. Professor Oak, Red, and Picnicker minifigures appear alongside Pikachu and Eevee figures.
These five releases expand the LEGO Pokémon collection introduced in January 2026. I’m especially happy to see Trainer minifigures joining the range. Professor Oak’s Laboratory also brings an important piece of the original Pokémon games into LEGO form.
Trainer Minifigures Expand The LEGO Pokémon Collection
Four products carry an 18+ age rating, including the three Pokémon builds and the large Poké Ball. Up-Scaled Red is rated for ages 10 and older.
The Poké Ball includes Professor Oak, Red, and Picnicker as minifigures. Rayquaza adds Zinnia, a Draconid Trainer from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, holding a Mega Stone beside the Sky Pillar scene.
Seeing Professor Oak’s Laboratory recreated in LEGO form is a great touch for anyone who started with Pokémon Red or Pokémon Blue. Red also appears as a larger figure in his own October set, placing him in two of the five new builds.
The Poké Ball Opens Into Two Pokémon Scenes
The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball is the largest set in the group at 2,386 pieces. The finished model measures over 22 centimetres high, 24 centimetres wide, and 22 centimetres deep.
Professor Oak’s Laboratory fills the upper half with computers, shelves, three moulded Poké Balls, and two Pokédex tiles. A Pokémon battle occupies the lower half, with Pikachu and Eevee included as separate figures.
The open design leaves both scenes visible at once. I like that the Poké Ball has several details to look through instead of relying on one large exterior model.
The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball costs $419.99 CAD and arrives October 1.
Rayquaza Arcanine And Munchlax Arrive August 1
Rayquaza rises over 38 centimetres above a cloud-covered Sky Pillar base. Collectors can reshape Rayquaza’s long body and tail, then adjust the head and arms. The 1,083-piece set costs $179.99 CAD.
Including Zinnia and the Sky Pillar base makes this one especially appealing for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire fans. Rayquaza can also be removed from the base, which opens up a few different ways to arrange the model.
Arcanine uses 1,190 pieces to recreate the Fire-type Pokémon at 17 centimetres high and almost 29 centimetres deep. Movement across the legs and tail supports different poses, while the head and mouth can also be adjusted. The Canadian price is $154.99.
Munchlax is the smallest August build at 757 pieces and $99.99 CAD. Its head rotates, and the arms and legs can be adjusted. The tree stump, apple, and pair of apple cores add some personality without taking attention away from Munchlax.
Red Appears As A Minifigure And A Larger Build
Red appears inside the Poké Ball beside Professor Oak and Picnicker. He also receives a separate 930-piece build that stands over 27 centimetres tall.
The larger figure’s head turns, and its articulated limbs support different poses. Its Poké Ball fits either hand. Red wears his familiar hat and vest with blue trousers and a backpack.
I’m glad LEGO included both versions of Red. The smaller minifigure fits naturally inside Professor Oak’s Laboratory, while the larger build works as its own character display.
Up-Scaled Red costs $114.99 CAD and arrives October 1.
Munchlax, Arcanine, and Rayquaza reach LEGO.ca/Pokémon, LEGO Stores, and select Canadian retailers on August 1. The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball and Up-Scaled Red follow on October 1. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the Poké Ball because Professor Oak’s Laboratory is exactly the kind of Pokémon scene I’ve wanted LEGO to recreate.
