For the first time ever, the LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International are officially teaming up to bring Pokémon into LEGO brick form, with a new lineup of display-focused LEGO Pokémon sets launching on February 27, 2026.
The collaboration introduces buildable versions of some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters, including Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. The first wave is aimed at adult fans, with three 18+ sets built for display, posing, and small details you discover as you build.
Three LEGO Pokémon Sets Launch February 27
The launch lineup includes three separate builds, each designed as a display piece rather than a traditional playset.
LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball (72152) is a 2,050-piece set that recreates an iconic moment with Pikachu leaping out of a Poké Ball in a dynamic pose. The build includes a lightning-themed base and a subtle “25” easter egg referencing Pikachu’s Pokédex number. Display options include a battle-launch pose and a seated pose with a closed Poké Ball.

LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153) is a massive 6,838-piece build that brings the original Kanto final evolutions together in LEGO form. Each Pokémon includes articulated elements and can be displayed individually or together on a shared action base inspired by their respective environments. The base also includes hidden details to find while you build.

LEGO Pokémon Eevee (72151) is a smaller 587-piece build focused on pose and personality. Eevee includes a movable head, tail, and limbs, letting you display it at rest or in a more action-ready stance. The set also supports LEGO’s Build Together feature through the LEGO Builder app.

Built for Display and Long-Time Fans
LEGO says the collaboration was designed to capture Pokémon’s sense of discovery while delivering builds that feel substantial for fans who grew up with the series.
Julia Goldin, Chief Product and Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group, said bringing Pokémon into LEGO form comes with a responsibility to get the details right, and that the team focused on celebrating the creativity and adventure Pokémon represents.
Siddharth Muthyala, Design Director on LEGO Pokémon, said the team approached the character designs with care so each build reflects what makes the Pokémon feel recognizable, from pose to expression.
Gaku Susai, Chief Product and Experience Officer at The Pokémon Company International, added that the partnership brings Pokémon’s themes of discovery and connection into a new creative format, giving fans new ways to build and tell their own stories.
