VGLX (Video Game Live Expo) is officially returning to the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario on October 24 and October 25, 2026. You can grab VGLX 2026 adult weekend passes right now for $35, while kids 12 and under get in for free.
This year’s show floor isn't just about walking around and looking at booths. It focuses heavily on competitive esports, horror demos from Behaviour Interactive, and a massive Collector Corner for TCG fans.
International Competition Meets the Electric Clash
One of the biggest pulls for VGLX 2026 is the Electric Clash tournament. It’s an official Challenger Event for the TEKKEN World Tour 2026. International pros from around the world including South Korea and the United Kingdom are flying in to fight for their spot on the global stage.
Incendium Gaming is handling the brackets. Expect the tournament to run like a well-oiled machine as the local Tekken community tries to defend the home turf. If you've ever sat in the front row for a fighting game final, you know the energy in that room hits the competitors in a way that's hard to describe from the outside.
If you're more into the Call of Duty scene, OverActive Media is bringing Toronto KOI to the main stage. They aren't just showing up for a quick visit. They’re revealing their new 2026-2027 roster and giving a first look at their new jersey.
It’s a huge moment for the Canadian esports community, especially since we’ve been waiting to see how the roster shakes out after the latest shifts in the league. Neil Duffy, Chief Commercial Officer, Americas at OverActive Media mentioned that bringing these communities together is the core of their mission, and VGLX is the spot to do it.
Horror Demos and the Indie Zone Showcase
Behaviour Interactive is taking advantage of the October dates by bringing some recognizable horror games to the show floor. Whether you've spent hundreds of hours as a Survivor in Dead by Daylight or you're a veteran of the brutal hallways in Darkest Dungeon, you'll have playable demos to jump into. They’re also bringing 7 Days to Die to VGLX 2026, which fits perfectly with the pre-Halloween timing of the expo.
The Indie Zone, curated by XP Gaming, is where I usually spend most of my time at these events. It’s the best way to find that one weird, brilliant project from a local developer before it blows up on Steam. If you're more into the physical side of gaming, Canada Super Collectibles is running the Collector Corner.
It features TCG vendors and a GameSwap area where you can trade, sell, or just talk shop with other collectors. I’ve found some of the rarest additions to my own collection at these types of swap meets.
Secure Your Weekend Pass for VGLX 2026
Tickets are available right now at vglx.ca. At $35 for the entire weekend, it’s one of the more affordable ways to get a hands-on look at upcoming releases and meet your favourite creators in the Creator Lounge. VGLX Shows Inc. and Jason Lepine have made it clear that the goal this year is about play and interactivity rather than just standing in lines.
Between the Tekken World Tour competition and the Behaviour Interactive horror demos, the International Centre is looking like the place to be this October. If you're planning to bring the family, that free admission for kids 12 and under makes it a pretty easy decision for a weekend outing.
