PlayStation Plus Game Catalog For May 2026

The official PlayStation Plus Game Catalog May 2026 lineup highlights Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Kay Vess and Arthur Morgan lead a balanced month of May for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

If your PS5 storage space is already at its limit, things aren't getting any easier this month. May 19 is the date to circle on your calendar. This mid-month drop is a heavy hitter. It brings eight games to the PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium tiers that'll likely force you to delete a few things you haven't touched since last Christmas.

We're looking at Star Wars Outlaws, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Thaumaturge, and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn as the big names leading the charge for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

May's PlayStation Plus Game Catalog line up feels like one of the most balanced months we've seen in a while. Whether you're looking for a massive open world to get lost in or a weird, isometric trip through history, you've got options here.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Games May 2026

Star Wars Outlaws (PS5)

The big story here is Kay Vess finally hitting the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. This was the first-ever open-world Star Wars game. If you skipped it at launch, you're actually in a better spot now. The dev team pushed out massive updates that overhauled the stealth and gameplay loop. It makes the early Syndicate missions way less punishing than they were on day one. I highly recommend jumping into the settings immediately to tweak the new stealth parameters. It makes navigating those high-security Imperial bases much more manageable without constant restarts.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)

Arthur Morgan is back on the menu. If you've never experienced the story of the Van der Linde gang, you've officially run out of excuses. It’s a massive world that demands you slow down and live in it. You also get full access to Red Dead Online. This is great if you've got a crew looking to start a persistent posse. It's a huge download. The game is well over 100GB. You'll want to start clearing space early if you're planning to dive in on day one.

Bramble: The Mountain King (PS5, PS4)

Don't let the "King" part of the name fool you into thinking this is a royal power fantasy. It's a cinematic adventure. It’s a horror game at heart that leans hard into dark Nordic folklore. I remember playing through this and being genuinely creeped out by the scale of the creatures. The look of the forest environments is top-tier. It isn't for the faint of heart. It’s a great pick if you want something you can finish in a weekend.

The Thaumaturge (PS5)

This is the dark horse of the month. Set in 1905 Warsaw, you play as a thaumaturge who can see and control spirits called salutors. It's an isometric RPG with turn-based combat that feels different from anything else on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. The way it weaves historical settings with supernatural elements is fascinating. I found the investigation parts of the game to be just as absorbing as the spirit-summoning combat.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS5)

If you've got an itch for a souls-lite game, this is your answer. You play as Nor and go to war against the gods with an axe in one hand and a pistol in the other. It’s from the developers who made Ashen. They know how to build a world that feels hostile but rewarding. The combat is all about the "gun and blade" flow. Holding your firearm to interrupt enemy attacks instantly converts that opening into energy for your Power Weapon.

Broken Sword – Shadows of the Templar: Reforged (PS5, PS4)

This is a 4K remastered version of a point-and-click legend. George Stobbart's first adventure is a classic for a reason. The refined visuals make it look better than it ever has. The puzzles are smart. The writing is witty. Most importantly, the globe-trotting mystery still holds up thirty years after its original release. It's a slower pace than the rest of the lineup. It is perfect for a rainy afternoon.

Enotria: The Last Song (PS5)

They're calling this a "summer-soulslike." The sun-drenched Italian world is a far cry from the typical grimdark settings of the genre. Three masks let you shift your entire combat identity mid-fight, no checkpoint required. This changes your stats and abilities without needing to visit a bonfire-style checkpoint. With three distinct masks to cycle through and dozens of personality types layered on top, it brings a different vibe to the challenging action-RPG space.

PlayStation Plus Premium | Time Crisis

This is the one that'll hit you right in the nostalgia. The original 1997 PS1 classic is back in the Classics Catalog. It brings a massive technical upgrade: gyro aiming support. If you remember dumping quarters into the arcade cabinets to use the foot pedal and light gun, this is as close as you'll get on a modern controller. It’s fast, loud, and an absolute blast to run through for high scores.

Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 Headline a Heavy Hitting May 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Update

Between the open-world heavy hitters like Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2, and the technical nostalgia of Time Crisis, May 19 is looking like a busy day for subscribers. You're getting a huge variety of genres.

It ranges from souls-lite combat in Flintlock to the historical RPG depth of The Thaumaturge. If you've been looking for a reason to renew your sub or check the PlayStation Plus monthly catalog for previous additions, this drop provides plenty of value. Just keep an eye on your storage space, because these games aren't small.
