PlayStation Canada just dropped a massive package on my doorstep for Housemarque’s new game, Saros, and I’m genuinely impressed with what’s inside.

As a collector of gaming gear, I can tell you that this isn’t your typical marketing kit; it’s high-quality stuff that actually hints at the world of Saros.

Most kits come with a few stickers or a thin shirt, but this Saros swag is built differently and gets me even more hyped to see what the studio has been building since Returnal.

Heavyweight Soltari Bomber Jacket

The centrepiece is a black bomber-style jacket featuring a bold yellow quilted lining. It’s built from a heavy canvas material that reminds me of durable workwear, suggesting Saros might have a more grounded look than the sleek sci-fi style we saw in Returnal. On the right chest, the word "SOLTARI" is embroidered in yellow next to a small geometric icon.

I’m already curious about what "Soltari" represents in this world. Whether it’s a specific character faction or the name of the colony you’re exploring, the branding is front and centre. The jacket's construction is high-quality, right down to the branded Saros tag in the neck. It’s exactly the kind of gear I’ll be wearing while hunting for trophies on launch day.

Lore Clues and Mysterious Sleeve Icons

The details on the sleeves are where the real speculation begins. One arm features a large white "IV," while the other has a yellow emblem that looks like a stylized tower or a spire. We know Housemarque loves cryptic environmental storytelling, and these symbols suggest a deep world for you to uncover.

The back of the jacket is clean, but the accompanying T-shirt and hat both carry the "COME BACK STRONGER" slogan. It’s a direct nod to the gameplay loop that made the studio famous. In a game that likely demands precision and rewards persistence, this motto is a perfect fit for the experience Housemarque is building.

Beyond Standard Promotional Items

The box also tucked in a branded envelope with six vinyl decals and a thick, black-covered notebook. I’ve collected gaming merchandise for years, so seeing this level of effort in a media kit is a treat. The icons on the decals match the mysterious spire on the jacket sleeve, hinting that we’ll see these symbols frequently throughout the game.

Housemarque has a reputation for tight gameplay and high-quality presentation. If the quality of this gear is any indication of the care they’re putting into the game itself, we’re in for a special experience. I’ll keep this gear close by as I dive into whatever secrets Saros is hiding.
