By Jon Scarr
The 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book is officially live online and available in stores April 24, 2026 and for Canadian collectors, it's time to start planning your tree. The major events to mark on your calendar are the Ornament Premiere from July 11 to July 19, 2026, and the Ornament Debut from October 10 to October 18, 2026.
This year's lineup is a major addition for fans, featuring the first-ever PlayStation console ornament, the Hallmark Keepsake ornament debut of fan-favourite characters Oatchi (Pikmin) and Blathers (Animal Crossing), and a massive expansion into the anime space.
The level of detail in the "Magic" category has reached a new stage this year. These ornaments aren't just figures; they add light and audio that make the tree feel much more alive than standard decorations.

Mushroom Kingdom favourites
The Super Mario series has long been the backbone of the Hallmark Keepsake lineup, but the 2026 collection feels like a real evolution for Nintendo fans. Instead of only focusing on the main hero, Hallmark is giving us a deeper look into the world of the Mushroom Kingdom with some of the most iconic side characters finally getting their turn.
From the interactive "Magic" features of Yoshi to the debut of the long-requested Lakitu, this year is all about building a complete, active scene on your branches. It is easily the most diverse Mario selection we have seen in years, making it a major priority for anyone looking to expand their display.
"It's Yoshi!" (Sound and Motion)
- Price: $44.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QX11096

| The magic happens with a quick turn of the crank. This shot shows the detail on the Super Mario World-inspired base and the hatching Yoshi in action. |
Why it's a must-have: This "Magic" ornament brings the classic Super Mario World hatching animation right to your holiday display. I’m looking forward to using the lever that makes Yoshi hatch from his egg as those iconic game sounds play. It’s a great way to add some motion and classic SNES nostalgia to your collection, and it makes the Mushroom Kingdom section of the tree feel much more active.
Lakitu
- Price: $23.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QX11083
![]() |
| Lakitu is ready to signal the final lap! |
Why it's a must-have: This ornament captures the most high-stakes moment of any race: the countdown. Lakitu is featured in his classic smiling cloud, holding the iconic starting signal that every Mario Kart fan knows by heart. I love how the design includes his signature goggles and the specific detail on the traffic lights. For those of us who have spent years trying to time that perfect "rocket start," this piece is a major nostalgic hit.
Fire Mario
- Price: $23.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QXR8193
![]() |
| Fire Mario brings the heat to the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Nintendo collection. |
Why it's a must-have: This is the fifth entry in the Powered Up With Mario series, and it might be the most anticipated one yet. Following Raccoon Mario, Cat Mario, Propeller Mario, and last year’s Elephant Mario, we finally get the classic Fire Mario look with the iconic white hat and shirt. I’ve always appreciated how this specific series focuses on the evolution of Mario’s abilities rather than just standard poses. The design captures Mario in mid-stride, ready to toss a fireball, and the paint finish on the white fabric looks excellent against the green of a Christmas tree.
Koopa Troopa
- Price: $21.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QX11103
![]() |
| The classic Koopa Troopa joins the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Nintendo lineup. |
Why it's a must-have: This is the definitive green shell version of the most iconic "foot soldier" in gaming history. Even though Hallmark released a red shell variant back in 2018, this new green version feels like a major upgrade in fidelity. The texture on the shell and the way the pose captures that classic "pacing back and forth" energy from the original games is impressive. If you're building out a full Mushroom Kingdom display, this is the essential piece needed to balance out the heroes on the tree.
Pokemon Holiday collection
I’ve always found that the best holiday displays have a consistent theme, and Hallmark is clearly leaning into that strategy this year. They are offering a full Pokémon collection that covers every inch of the tree, from the festive skirt at the base to the light-up Pikachu topper at the peak.
This "all-in" approach is a massive win for fans who want a professional, cohesive look without having to source matching pieces from different brands. It makes building a dedicated Pokémon tree easier than ever, and the quality of the fabric and lighting features is exactly what I’ve come to expect from the Hallmark Keepsake line.
Holiday Pikachu Christmas Tree Topper
- Price: $98.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QFM3386
![]() |
| This Pikachu tree topper is the ideal companion for the matching 2026 Pokémon tree skirt, completing your themed display for the July Ornament Premiere. |
Why it's a must-have: Pikachu looks incredibly festive in his Santa hat and energetic jumping pose. I am looking forward to seeing the light features on this piece. This serves as the ultimate centerpiece for a Pokémon-themed tree, and it should look fantastic when paired with the matching tree skirt to create a cohesive holiday display.
Poké Balls (Set of 6)
- Price: $44.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QX11223
![]() |
| This set includes six distinct Poké Balls, covering key variations like the Master and Ultra Balls. |
Why it's a must-have: This set of six iconic Poké Balls is the best way to build a professional-looking themed tree. I've always felt that using matching sets like this is the easiest way to make a holiday display feel cohesive, as it removes the need to hunt for individual small ornaments one by one. The variety included in this pack is impressive, featuring different designs like the Great Ball and Ultra Ball to add authentic detail to your branches. For those of us who want our holiday display to look like a true Pokémon gym, this collection provides a great foundation that works incredibly well when paired with the larger Pikachu topper.
Holiday Pokémon Christmas Tree Skirt
- Price: $89.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026
- SKU: QFM3383
![]() |
| The Pokémon tree skirt provides a professional foundation for your 2026 display, featuring Pikachu and Squirtle. |
Why it's a must-have: This 48-inch fabric skirt is the essential foundation for anyone serious about building a themed display. I’ve always felt that the base of the tree is just as important as the ornaments themselves, and this piece features various Pokémon in festive gear to pull the look together from the floor up. When you group this with the matching Pikachu tree topper, you create a professional-level aesthetic that makes the whole tree feel like a complete collection.
Captain Pikachu (Pokémon Horizons: The Series)
- Price: $22.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QXI1106
![]() |
| Captain Pikachu brings his signature stern look and captain's hat to the 2026 collection. This is a perfect addition for fans of the Pokémon Horizons series. |
Why it's a must-have: This is a significant debut because it marks the first time Captain Pikachu, the leader of the Rising Volt Tacklers, has appeared in the Keepsake line. I love that Hallmark is moving beyond the "Classic Pikachu" look to recognize the current Pokémon Horizons series. The design captures his authoritative "Captain" pose perfectly, and it is a great way to keep your tree current with the newest era of the franchise.
Espeon and Umbreon (Set of 2)
- Price: $36.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QXI1113
![]() |
| Espeon and Umbreon join the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake collection as a sleek duo. |
Why it's a must-have: For many of us, the Eeveelutions are the heart of the collection, and seeing Espeon and Umbreon released as a set of two is a massive win. I have always preferred these grouped sets because they allow you to create a much more balanced scene on the tree without having to track down separate pieces. The fidelity on these resin figures is impressive, and they capture that iconic Sun and Moon dynamic that has made these two fan favourites for decades.
Nintendo first party debuts and magic
For long-time Nintendo fans, this is easily the most rewarding part of the 2026 Dream Book. I have been waiting for Hallmark to expand deeper into these franchises, and seeing the first-ever stand-alone character debut for Pikmin with Oatchi is a major milestone. Although the Animal Crossing series has been around for a few years, adding a character as iconic as Blathers is exactly the kind of "deep cut" we’ve been asking for.
Along with a high-fidelity update to Link, this group of ornaments shows that Hallmark is finally diving deeper into the Nintendo vault to give us the icons we actually want on our branches. It’s a great year to be a first-party collector as these franchises finally get the attention they deserve.
Link (The Legend of Zelda)
- Price: $44.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QX11093
![]() |
| Link takes a hero's pose on a detailed stone pedestal. This "Magic" ornament features sound and light. |
Why it's a must-have: This new Link ornament is a major addition for The Legend of Zelda fans and a significant upgrade over the Breath of the Wild version from 2017. As a "Magic" ornament, it is designed to light up and play iconic music from the game, which adds a layer of action to your branches that a standard figure just can't match. I'm looking forward to seeing how the internal lighting enhances the detail on his tunic and gear when it is hanging near the tree lights. This arrives in July and is likely to be a top priority for Nintendo collectors.
Oatchi (Pikmin)
- Price: $22.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026
- SKU: QX11163
![]() |
| Oatchi makes his Hallmark debut for the 2026 season. This Pikmin 4 pup is a perfect fit for any Nintendo fan's holiday display. |
Why it's a must-have: Even though a set of three small Pikmin debuted in 2024, Oatchi is the first stand-alone, full-sized character from the franchise to join the Hallmark Keepsake ornament line. As the breakout star and "Rescue Pup" from Pikmin 4, Oatchi completely changed how we explore the world, and I’m glad to see Hallmark recognize that impact. The design captures his lovable, bipedal design perfectly, and his bright yellow colour is going to pop beautifully against a green tree. It feels like a natural evolution for the series at Hallmark, moving from small plant-creatures to the actual heroes of the game.
Blathers (Animal Crossing)
- Price: $23.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026
- SKU: QX11086
![]() |
| Museum Director Blathers brings his scholarly charm to the Hallmark Keepsake lineup. He is an essential addition for fans creating a peaceful Animal Crossing holiday scene. |
Why it's a must-have: Even though Isabelle and Tom Nook have been on the tree for a few years, many of us have been waiting specifically for the museum director to make his appearance. This ornament is the official Hallmark Keepsake ornament debut for Blathers, and the design is exactly what I was hoping for. It captures his signature vest and green bowtie perfectly, and he even has that slightly wide-eyed, studious look he gets when he is about to explain a new fossil discovery.
Console icons and creative worlds
If you are like me and spent your weekends parked in front of a CRT television with a controller in hand, this section is going to hit all the right notes. For 2026, Hallmark is digging deep into the archives to celebrate the consoles and multi-platform characters that shaped the industry.
From 32-bit legends making their long-awaited debut to some of the most creative crossovers we have ever seen, this part of the collection is built for the gamers who love to see the history of their hobby on full display. It’s a great mix of retro tech and modern action that adds some real weight to your branches.
PlayStation Console (Light and Sound)
- Price: $28.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QX11136
![]() |
| A nostalgic masterpiece for gaming fans. This miniature PS1 plays the legendary startup sound and lights up. |
Why it's a must-have: This "Magic" ornament is a dream come true for those of us who grew up in the 32-bit era. It plays that legendary original start-up PlayStation sound that I remember so well from the 90s, and it even features a glowing power light. This is the first time the original PlayStation has received the Hallmark Keepsake treatment, making it a star addition for retro gaming fans who want to celebrate the console's 30-year legacy.
UNSC Warthog (Halo)
- Price: $31.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QX11156
![]() |
| This heavy duty UNSC Warthog arrives for the 2026 October Debut. It is a perfect centrepiece for a Halo themed holiday display this year. |
Why it's a must-have: The level of detail on the Warthog's turret and tires is impressive for a piece at this price point. It brings a mature, rugged look to the tree that Halo fans will definitely appreciate. I love how the design captures the iconic profile of the M12 Force Application Vehicle, and it serves as a great tribute to the Master Chief's legacy on the Xbox.
Sonic as The Flash
- Price: $25.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026
- SKU: QX11153
![]() |
| Sonic and Flash combine in this high-speed mashup for the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake collection. An essential crossover piece for Sonic fans. |
Why it's a must-have: This is a fun crossover piece from the Sonic x DC collaboration that I didn’t expect to see in the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book. It fits Sonic's character perfectly, as he trades his usual look for The Flash's iconic red suit and lightning bolts. It is part of a larger DC crossover theme this year, and for fans of both franchises, it is a unique collector’s item that adds a lot of "speed" to your branches.
Sonic with Chaos Emerald
- Price: $25.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QX11143
![]() |
| Sonic brings the power of a Chaos Emerald to the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake collection. |
Why it's a must-have: Although the crossover with The Flash is a fun novelty, this is the ornament that true Sonic purists will want on their tree. It features Sonic clutching a glowing green Chaos Emerald, capturing the high-energy "Level Clear" feeling from the games. I love the vibrant blue paint finish and the determined expression on his face, which really makes the character pop against holiday lights. It’s a great way to celebrate the core lore of the franchise, and it serves as a perfect companion piece to the other Sega ornaments Hallmark has released over the last few years.
Allay (Minecraft)
- Price: $19.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QXI1126
![]() |
| This blue helper is ready to gather holiday items for your display. It’s a clean translation of the fan-favourite mob into the 2026 Minecraft collection. |
Why it's a must-have: The Allay is one of the most helpful mobs in Minecraft, and its glow-in-the-dark wings make it a perfect fit for a Christmas tree. I love that Hallmark chose a peaceful, item-gathering mob for this year’s standard release, as it adds a bit of charm to the usual lineup of Creepers and Endermen. It’s a great, affordable piece for fans who want to represent the lighter side of their survival world.
"Blub" (Minecraft Mystery Ornament)
- Price: $22.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QXI1133
![]() |
| This red mystery mob brings a pixelated touch to your holiday tree. Collectors can find this rare figure in the first Minecraft mystery series this October. |
Why it's a must-have: This is easily the biggest talking point of the 2026 Minecraft Hallmark Keepsake ornament collection. Labeled simply as "Blub" in the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book, this ornament is already causing quite a stir in the community as a potential new mob teaser or a "deep cut" from a future game update. Whether it turns out to be a boiling cauldron or a brand-new creature, the mystery makes it a major collector's item. I am looking forward to seeing the final reveal in October.
Anime favourites and high action
The 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book makes it obvious that Hallmark is finally answering the call for more anime representation on the tree. This year represents a major shift in the lineup, as we move beyond the experimental stage and into high-fidelity releases for some of the biggest franchises in the world.
Whether it is the combat-ready energy of Sasuke or the effortless cool of Satoru Gojo, these pieces are designed for collectors who value accuracy and iconic poses. It is an exciting time to see these licenses finally get the Hallmark Keepsake ornament treatment they deserve, and they bring a fresh, high-action energy to a collection that has traditionally focused on more standard holiday themes.
Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)
- Price: $25.99 CAD
- Release: July 11, 2026 (Ornament Premiere)
- SKU: QX18522
![]() |
| Sasuke’s red Sharingan eyes really pop and make a great addition to any anime themed tree. |
Why it's a must-have: Sasuke arrives in a dynamic combat pose, right in the middle of charging his signature Chidori. Even though this is a standard ornament, the use of blue translucent plastic for the lightning effect is a clever touch that should catch the tree lights beautifully. This is a required piece for Naruto fans who want to balance out their collection with one of the most important rivals in anime history.
Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)
- Price: $25.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QX11236
![]() |
| Gojo’s signature blindfold and white hair look great against the evergreen branches. He is a strong addition to the July Premiere lineup. |
Why it's a must-have: This is a major addition for modern anime fans as Jujutsu Kaisen officially joins the Hallmark Keepsake ornament lineup. Satoru Gojo is arguably the most popular character in the medium right now, and this design captures his effortless cool perfectly. The clean lines on his blindfold and uniform, make it a high-fidelity piece that will stand out among more traditional decorations.
The Last Ronin (TMNT)
- Price: $28.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026
- SKU: QX11283
![]() |
| The Last Ronin arrives this October, bringing a battle-worn look to the 2026 TMNT collection. |
Why it's a must-have: This ornament has a high-action look that sets it apart from the more cartoonish TMNT ornaments of the past. It captures the darker, cinematic tone of the "Last Ronin" comics perfectly. This is a star piece for older collectors who grew up with the turtles but now prefer the more mature storytelling of the recent graphic novels.
Aang's Loyal Appa (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
- Price: $23.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QXI1216
| Appa takes flight on the holiday tree with this detailed design. It is a perfect addition for any Avatar: The Last Airbender fan this July. |
Why it's a must-have: This is a required piece for anyone who grew up watching the journey of Team Avatar. Appa is captured in a peaceful, iconic pose that reminds me of the many episodes where he served as the heart of the group. Even though we’ve seen Aang in the Keepsake line before, having his loyal sky bison to accompany him makes the display feel much more complete.
Super Saiyan Goku (Dragon Ball Z)
- Price: $25.99 CAD
- Release: October 10, 2026 (Ornament Debut)
- SKU: QXI1233
![]() |
| Super Saiyan Goku powers up for the Hallmark Keepsake October Debut. |
Why it's a must-have: This ornament celebrates the most legendary transformation in anime history. Goku is depicted in his Super Saiyan form, complete with the iconic golden hair and determined battle stance that defined the 90s for so many of us. I love the way the design captures the intensity of his energy, and it serves as a major centrepiece. Whether you are a long-time Dragon Ball Z fan or just starting your collection, this piece brings a level of power and nostalgia to your tree that is hard to beat.
The Collector’s Strategy: Submitting Your 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book Wishlist
The best part about the gaming and anime favourites in the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake ornament lineup is that they are all eligible for your official Hallmark Keepsake Wishlist. Whether you are eyeing It's Yoshi!, Fire Mario, Link, or the PlayStation Console, adding them to your list is the best way to secure your collection for the season.
To get started, you should check with your local Hallmark Gold Crown store to find out if they prefer wishlist submissions via email or if they need a physical paper copy. Once your list is submitted, your store will have your chosen ornaments bagged and ready for you to pick up on the July 11 Premiere and the October 10 Debut dates. It is a much more relaxed way to shop, especially if you have a long list of favourites. If your plans change, you can simply contact the store to adjust your quantities.
For my fellow Canadian collectors, please double-check those power requirements before you leave the store. The PlayStation Console and Link ornaments include the batteries you need, but the Holiday Pikachu Christmas Tree Topper needs a USB power source (not included) to light up your display. I have definitely made the mistake of leaving without a power source before.
Trying to head back to your local Hallmark store when it is packed during the Ornament Premiere or Ornament Debut is an experience I want to help you avoid. You can find your closest shop using the Hallmark store locator to get your list in early. Building that relationship with your local Hallmark store is the secret to a successful 2026 season.
Which ornament are you most excited to add to your tree? Drop a comment below with your top picks from the2026 Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book! Don’t forget to get your wishlist into your local Hallmark Gold Crown store early to secure these gaming and anime icons!
