Nintendo of Canada is bringing Pokémon Pokopia to select EB Games locations across the country for a weekend demo event. On March 7–8, you can drop by participating stores between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. local time to try the new life simulation game on Nintendo Switch 2. Pokémon-themed giveaways will be handed out by a Nintendo Experience Specialist while supplies last.

A Slow-Life Pokémon Game Focused on Rebuilding a World

Pokémon Pokopia takes the series in a more laid-back direction built around daily routines and town building. You play as a Ditto that has taken on a human form and start putting together a new life from scratch. The focus is on crafting, creating, and putting a community back together instead of chasing gym badges or battling through routes.

Your Pokémon partners help you restore a desolate world into something more welcoming. As you work through tasks, you turn Pokopia into a small utopia step by step, adding buildings, decorations, and touches that make it feel lived in. The demo event gives you a chance to see how that loop works in person before you pick up the full game.
