McFarlane Toys has announced a new line of action figures based on Helldivers 2 and God of War, marking the start of its officially licensed partnership with PlayStation. The figures will be part of the McFarlane Elite Edition and McFarlane Gaming Edition collectible lines and are scheduled to release starting in Spring 2026.

This agreement gives McFarlane Toys the ability to produce collectible figures based on PlayStation franchises, with Helldivers 2 and God of War confirmed as the first releases.

Helldivers 2 Figures Launch First With Multiple Armor Variants

The first wave focuses on Helldivers 2, featuring 7-inch scale figures representing Super Earth soldiers. McFarlane Toys confirmed several armor variants will be included in the lineup:

  • B-01 Tactical
  • CE-35 Trench Engineer
  • SA-04 Combat Technician
  • TR-40 Gold Eagle

Each figure includes detailed sculpting, articulation, and accessories designed to match the in-game designs. The figures are built with McFarlane’s ultra-articulation format, allowing for a wide range of posing options.

The Helldivers 2 figures are expected to release in Spring 2026, with pre-order timing and retailer availability to be announced closer to launch.

God of War Figures Follow Later in 2026

God of War figures are planned as part of the same licensing agreement and will release in Summer 2026. McFarlane Toys has not yet confirmed which specific characters will be included, but additional details are expected as the release window approaches.

Both Helldivers 2 and God of War figures will be released under McFarlane’s established Gaming Edition and Elite Edition collectible lines. These lines focus on detailed sculpting, accurate paintwork, and character-specific accessories.

Additional PlayStation Franchises Planned for Future Collectibles

McFarlane Toys also confirmed that the licensing agreement covers additional PlayStation franchises. Future figure releases may include characters from:

  • The Last of Us
  • Uncharted
  • Twisted Metal
  • Ghost of Yōtei
  • Ghost of Tsushima
  • Horizon
  • Bloodborne

These announcements confirm McFarlane Toys now holds the license to produce collectible figures based on multiple PlayStation game properties.

Release timing and character lineups for these additional franchises will be announced later.
