By Jon Scarr
Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea is set to launch on March 5, arriving on Apple Arcade. The new entry continues the action-adventure series from Cornfox & Brothers and takes place nearly a thousand years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm.
Set across a scattered sea of lost islands, Oceanhorn 3 focuses on exploration, combat, and discovery as you travel between locations tied to a world on the edge of renewal. The game supports play across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, continuing Apple Arcade’s cross-device approach.
Development on Oceanhorn 3 has been ongoing for five years, with the studio positioning it as a full continuation of the series rather than a side project. The game is built to support both longtime fans and players jumping in for the first time.
Gameplay blends real-time combat, puzzle solving, and open exploration, with a focus on large environments and encounters against towering enemies. The game features a fully 3D world with multiple camera perspectives across its environments, including an optional first-person view.
More Games Joining Apple Arcade in March
Alongside Oceanhorn 3, three additional games will join Apple Arcade on March 5, all available without ads or in-app purchases.
- Pocket Love!+ – A relaxed life simulator centred on decorating a shared home with a partner and pet.
- Flow Free+ – The popular colour-matching puzzle game arrives in an Apple Arcade edition.
- Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+ – A shop management game from Kairosoft featuring the long-running manga character Doraemon.
February Updates Also Rolling Out
Apple Arcade is also continuing to update existing games ahead of March. On February 19, Disney SpellStruck receives a Star Wars-themed update inspired by Episode IV – A New Hope, adding Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca as playable characters.
This follows Crayola Create and Play+’s limited-time Snowy Day event featuring Paddington, which runs on Apple Arcade until February 18.
Meanwhile, NFL Retro Bowl ’26 has added a new challenge tied to Super Bowl LX, letting players compete on leaderboards using the Seattle Seahawks or New England Patriots.
