This week’s GFN Thursday update wraps up GeForce NOW’s CES 2026 showing, bringing together the platform updates announced at the show alongside a new batch of games joining the cloud.

Most of the big CES reveals focused on where GeForce NOW is headed next. If you want a deeper breakdown of those announcements, including Linux and Fire TV support, we covered that separately in our GeForce NOW CES 2026 coverage. This update ties those changes back into the usual weekly update with new games you can start streaming right now.

What CES 2026 Means for GeForce NOW

CES was less about a single headline feature and more about GeForce NOW steadily filling in gaps. Native app support is expanding, starting with Linux systems like Ubuntu 24.04 and newer, alongside a dedicated app coming to Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks. That opens up more ways to stream without relying on workarounds or secondary devices.

For simulation fans, upcoming flight stick support is also worth noting. HOTAS gear will be supported for games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and War Thunder, making it easier to treat cloud gaming setups more like traditional PC rigs.

There’s also some quality-of-life cleanup coming. Gaijin.net integration is on the way, which should simplify logging into supported games and reduce the usual account juggling before you even get to the main menu.

On the games side, NVIDIA also reiterated its push toward day-and-date cloud support for major PC launches. Upcoming releases like 007 First Light, Resident Evil Requiem, Active Matter, and Crimson Desert are all expected to be playable on GeForce NOW when they arrive on PC.

New Games Joining GeForce NOW This Week

Alongside the CES 2026 news, six games are coming to GeForce NOW:

  • StarRupture (Steam, new release Jan. 6)
  • Ancient Farm (Steam, new release Jan. 7)
  • Pathologic 3 (Steam, new release Jan. 9)
  • Blood West (Epic Games Store)
  • Paradise Killer (Epic Games Store)
  • Supermarket Simulator (Xbox, available on Game Pass)

It’s a lineup that spends more time on slower, more deliberate games, with a mix of new releases and a few titles that have been sitting in libraries waiting for a good excuse to try them.

GeForce RTX 5080-Ready Game

One more addition worth calling out this week is a new RTX 5080-ready game:

  • HITMAN: World of Assassination (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox, available on Game Pass)

If you already own it, this is another easy one to revisit without worrying about installs or updates.

Wrapping Up This Week on GeForce NOW

This week's GFN Thursday update feels like a transition point. CES laid out where GeForce NOW is expanding next, and this week’s update brings it back to the usual weekly update with a handful of new games to try.

Between new releases like StarRupture and Pathologic 3, returning favourites like HITMAN, and platform updates rolling out over the coming months, this one’s more about steady progress than a single big reveal.
