| The ASUS ROG x Kojima Productions collaboration brings Ludens-inspired design to the Flow Z13-KJP and a matching set of premium gaming peripherals. |
By Jon Scarr
ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced a new collaboration with Kojima Productions at CES 2026, pairing ROG hardware with the studio’s distinctive sci-fi style and its Ludens mascot. The centrepiece is the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, a limited-edition take on ROG’s 2-in-1 that’s meant to work as a gaming machine, a creator tablet, or a compact laptop depending on how you use it.
Alongside the Flow Z13-KJP, ROG is also planning a matching set of Kojima-themed peripherals, including a headset, mouse, and oversized mouse pad. It’s being positioned as a full “ecosystem” drop, not just a one-off device.
ROG Flow Z13-KJP Puts Ludens Front and Centre
The Flow Z13-KJP is framed as the “hero” product of the collaboration, built around Kojima Productions’ Ludens identity. It’s still a flexible 2-in-1 at its core, so you can treat it like a compact laptop with the detachable keyboard, or shift it into a more tablet-style setup when you want something lighter on your lap or desk.
ROG is also highlighting the idea that the Z13 can shift roles depending on what you’re doing, from playing to editing to general work. If you like hardware that can cover multiple use cases without forcing you into a single setup, that’s the pitch here.
Specs and screen focus on high-refresh performance
ROG says the Flow Z13-KJP is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics, plus a 50 TOPS NPU for on-device AI acceleration. The headline display specs are a 13.4-inch touchscreen with a 2.5K Nebula HDR panel, a 180Hz refresh rate, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
On paper, the combination prioritizes high refresh rates while still maintaining full DCI-P3 colour coverage for creative work.

Collectible Touches, Custom Themes, and Kojima-Style Presentation
Where this edition separates itself is the presentation and styling. ROG says the chassis design is tied to Yoji Shinkawa (Kojima Productions’ art director) and that the Z13-KJP includes exclusive packaging, plus custom Armoury Crate themes and Ludens-inspired wallpapers.
If you’re the type who treats certain gaming hardware like display pieces, that’s clearly part of the appeal here. It’s not being positioned as a subtle variant. It’s meant to look and feel like a collaboration you’d want on your desk even when you’re not using it.
The Matching Peripherals
ROG is also rounding out the collaboration with Kojima-themed accessories that match the Flow Z13-KJP’s vibe. The details shared so far focus on specs and feature sets, with the Kojima influence showing up through the design and artwork.
ROG Delta II-KJP Headset
The ROG Delta II-KJP headset is described as delivering “lifelike audio” using 50mm titanium-plated drivers, along with a 10mm super-wideband microphone for voice chat. ROG also calls out DualFlow Audio for dual-device connectivity, ROG SpeedNova wireless, and up to 100 hours of battery life.

ROG Keris II Origin-KJP Mouse
The ROG Keris II Origin-KJP mouse is listed at 63 grams and includes three-zone RGB lighting, a 42,000 dpi ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor, and SpeedNova wireless for low-latency play. If you like ultra-light mice but still want something that looks like a statement piece, this one is being framed that way.

ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP Mouse Pad
The ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP mouse pad is described as featuring a hand-drawn Ludens motif by Yoji Shinkawa, plus a surface that’s water-, oil-, and dust-repellent. It’s the most “desk setup” item in the lineup, which fits the collector angle of the whole drop.

What to know heading out of CES 2026
At the time of writing, ROG hasn’t shared final pricing or a clear release window for the Flow Z13-KJP or the matching Kojima Productions peripherals. Availability will likely matter as much as the hardware itself, especially for a collaboration positioned around a specific visual identity rather than mass-market appeal.
ROG collaborations can sometimes stop at surface-level styling, but this one is being presented as a more cohesive set, spanning the hardware design, software themes, and companion accessories. Once pricing and release details are confirmed, it’ll be easier to tell whether this ends up as a widely available option or something closer to a limited collector piece.
