Team NINJA and KOEI TECMO America shared new details on Nioh 3 during The Game Awards 2025, confirming that a playable demo will be released on January 29, 2026. The demo will be available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam.
The announcement came alongside a new trailer shown during the awards broadcast. The demo also supports save transfer, allowing progress to carry over into the full game when it launches on February 6, 2026.
Demo Features and Early Purchase Bonuses
The Nioh 3 demo can be played solo or online with up to three players. Save data from the demo will carry over into the full game, letting players continue their journey without restarting. Team NINJA also confirmed that more information about the demo will be shared at a later date.
Alongside the demo announcement, new early purchase bonuses were revealed. Players who qualify will receive two armor sets inspired by past protagonists in the series. These include the Youngblood Armor worn by William in Nioh and the Lone Wolf’s Armor worn by Hiddy in Nioh 2. The items are unlocked by redeeming the Hellfrost Armor Set early purchase bonus in game.
Pre-Orders and Steam Discount Details
Nioh 3 is available to pre-order physically and digitally, including a Digital Deluxe Edition, Season Pass options, and a SteelBook edition with exclusive bonus DLC.
A limited-time discount is also available on Steam for Nioh: Complete Edition, currently offered at 90 percent off.
