LG has announced a new batch of games coming to its Gaming Portal, adding more options that can be played directly on LG Smart TVs without connecting a console or PC.
The additions expand the selection of games available through LG’s webOS interface, with a mix of cloud-based and casual games that can be accessed straight from the TV. Support for remotes, smartphones, and cloud gaming continues to shape how the LG Gaming Portal works as a built-in option rather than something that needs extra hardware.
More Games Become Available Directly on LG Smart TVs
According to LG, the Gaming Portal now lists over 4,000 cloud-based games alongside more than 600 casual titles, all accessible directly on supported Smart TVs.
Instead of booting up a console or PC, supported games launch straight from the TV using cloud gaming, with no local installs or dedicated gaming hardware required.
Just Dance Now Arrives on webOS TVs
Just Dance Now is also being added to the Gaming Portal and is now available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later in select regions, including the US, Australia, Sweden, and Norway. Wider availability across Europe is expected in the coming weeks.
Through LG’s partnership with Ubisoft, the game can be played using the LG Magic Remote’s motion controls, allowing routines to be followed and tracked without a console or dedicated controller.
Blacknut Brings More Games to LG’s Smart TV Gaming Portal
Blacknut is adding more games to LG’s Gaming Portal, giving Smart TV owners a few more options that work without a console.
Arcade racing fans can jump into Asphalt Legends Unite, available free with ads in the US. All cars and tracks are unlocked from the start, and the game can be played using the TV remote’s directional controls.
Also joining the lineup is My Little Puppy, a story-driven adventure published by Krafton. The game focuses on narrative and exploration, with its environments presented on the TV’s larger display.
Voice-Controlled Games Join the Portal
LG has also partnered with Volley to bring voice-controlled games to the Gaming Portal in the US. The lineup includes familiar game-show formats like Jeopardy! alongside music trivia titles such as Song Quiz.
These games rely on voice input instead of traditional controllers and are played directly through the TV.
Smartphones Can Now Act as Controllers
LG also offers a Wi-Fi–based mobile gamepad app that lets your phone act as a controller for supported games. It works on both Android and iOS and removes the need for a separate physical controller.
This makes it easier to jump into multiplayer or shared play without setting up additional hardware.
Hackathon Winners Join the Gaming Portal
LG is also adding two award-winning games from last year’s LG webOS Hackathon to the Gaming Portal.
Quest of Sunflower by Couchplay, the Grand Prize winner, is a family-focused adventure built around AI-driven storytelling. Signs of Magic by Lukas Klingsbo uses the LG Magic Remote’s motion sensors for gesture-based spell casting during gameplay.
