Amazon Luna is now available on the Rogers Xfinity in Canada. Rogers confirmed the launch today, bringing Luna’s cloud gaming service directly to supported devices with no console or downloads required. Luna is available immediately on Rogers Xfinity Streaming hardware and will reach millions more Rogers Xfinity Entertainment customers next year.

Rogers notes that gaming continues to grow across the country, with more than seventy percent of Canadians playing video games. The addition of Luna places cloud gaming alongside live TV, on-demand content, free channels and streaming apps already used on the platform.

Canadian customers with an Amazon Prime membership or a Luna Premium subscription can browse and play more than one hundred cloud-based games. Prime members can access more than fifty titles, including Hogwarts Legacy and Indiana Jones and the Natural Circle. Family friendly options like Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg and The Jackbox Party Pack 9 are also included.

Luna can be opened by saying Luna into the Rogers Xfinity voice remote. Customers then sign in with their Amazon account to start browsing. Games stream instantly with no downloads required, and the service supports major Bluetooth controllers as well as the Amazon Luna Controller. GameNight titles allow customers to use their smartphone as a controller by scanning a QR code on the TV.
