JAKKS Pacific has announced its latest lineup of Super Mario toys arriving in stores this fall, just in time for the holiday shopping season. The company is bringing a wide mix of new figures, playsets, and collectibles to fans, giving Super Mario collectors and families plenty to look forward to.
One of the biggest releases this year is the Super Mario Big Bad Bowser, which recently launched as a Costco exclusive. The massive 12-inch figure features a fire breathing light effect, 13 points of articulation, and more than 15 sounds and music cues. It is priced at $69.99 USD and is already shaping up to be a popular pick for both kids and longtime Mario fans.
Princess Peach has a big release in the lineup too. The Yours Truly, Princess Peach figure arrives later this fall at major retailers for $39.99 USD. She stands about 12 inches tall, includes 6 points of articulation, and features over 25 sounds. Fans can even pose her in her well-known floaty jump pose.
JAKKS is also expanding its 2.5-inch scale collection with two new ways to play. The Spinning Spirit House Playset and Spinning Spirit House Diorama both arrive for $19.99 each. The playset lets fans spin a coin crate and guide Mario away from Boos, while the diorama includes Fire Mario, Boo, a new Shy Boo, a warp pipe, and a button-activated P-Switch.
Collectors can also expect new 2.5-inch figures this fall, including Raccoon Mario, Ice Running Luigi, Toadette, Chain Chomp, and a brand-new Baby Daisy, all priced at $4.99 USD. Target shoppers in the US will get a bonus exclusive: a 2.5-inch Donkey Kong 4-pack launching in October.
A fresh wave of 4-inch figures is coming too, featuring Mario with Super Mushroom, Luigi with 1-Up Mushroom, Daisy with Super Star, Bone Piranha Plant with Coin, and a new Birdo with a Question Block.
Jeremy Sueper, VP of Marketing at JAKKS Pacific, said the team is proud of its long-running partnership with Nintendo and is excited to continue bringing fan-favourite products to stores this year.
