Assassin’s Creed games, DLC and free weekend and more to come
Assassin's Creed III Remastered launched on Stadia Wednesday, December 14, inviting players to enjoy some crowd favourites from the series. On sale now until December 29, Assassin's Creed III Remastered also includes all the original solo expansions, including The Tyranny of King Washington, and the full game: Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered.
In other Assassin's Creed news, Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök, the newest expansion, is arriving March 10, 2022 on Stadia. Plus, a new Crossover Event is now available as a free update to both AC Valhalla and AC Odyssey, introducing heroes from both stories to each other.
Rounding up this week's Assassin's Creed news is the announced of a free play weekend. This weekend, from December 16 11am PT through December 20 11am PT, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be free for all Stadia players - no Pro subscription required.
New free game and other updates
Yet another free to play game has launched on Stadia. This week, Super Animal Royale, is a 64-player, frenetic, top-down 2D battle royale supporting cross-play with other platforms. One Hand Clapping has come out of early access and now has fully launched with new content.
Keeping in theme with the holidays, ARK: Survival Evolved is running a Winter Wonderland event. It adds new presents and goodies in an epic winter-themed holiday event available now until Jan. 6.
