Halloween is coming to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS

by Ian Matties

Update 14.1 is coming to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and players will be able to get in on their trick or treating early as the Erangel map will have some key areas decorated with a Halloween theme. New spooky weather effects including fog and a unique moon colour will be found in some points of interest throughout the map.

The update will also include a new gameplay feature on all maps: Carry. Players will be able to pick up downed players, whether allies or enemies, which will open up a variety of new strategies.

Update 14.1 also brings in Ranked Season 14, which means all rewards earned during the Ranked Season 13 will be added to player’s inventory. Similar to other recent ranked seasons, Ranked Season 14 will run for 2 months. Adjustments have also been made to the maps Taego and Erango.

Maps Taego and Paramo will be joining both Normal and Ranked matches replacing Vikendi and Karakin in Normal matches and Sanjok and Vikendi in Ranked matches.

Update 14.1 launches on October 6th for PC and October 14th for consoles.
