100 Thieves and TOWNDUST's limited FPS-inspired apparel collection is available now, turning familiar shooter imagery into embroidered designs. The collaboration features references to the P90, holographic sights, and bullet holes across hoodies and hats.
Rather than using screen-printed graphics, TOWNDUST designer Grant Van Dust created and digitized the embroidery used throughout the collection. The label calls the technique blur embroidery. The threadwork softens the image so the gaming reference takes a moment to recognize.
100 Thieves x TOWNDUST Turns FPS References Into Embroidery
The gaming influence is most obvious on the P90 Hoodie. The P90 Hoodie turns the submachine gun itself into part of the stitched artwork.
The Sakura Drive-by Hoodie combines floral embroidery with a bullet-hole motif. A matching Sakura Drive-by Hat carries that design onto one of the collection's three caps.
The Short Sited Hat references the holographic sight. The Static Connection Hat takes its name from the moment before an online match loads. Each piece ties back to FPS culture without relying on branding from a specific game.
TOWNDUST has been Grant Van Dust's ready-to-wear label since 2010. His work focuses heavily on thread design and embroidery, with the artwork designed and digitized by Van Dust himself. For this collaboration, the pieces were produced in Los Angeles.
100 Thieves x TOWNDUST Collection Has Two Hoodies and Three Hats
100 Thieves describes the collaboration as a five-piece collection consisting of two hoodies and three hats.
The Sakura Drive-by Hoodie and P90 Hoodie are both black and priced at $118 USD. The Sakura Drive-by Hat and Static Connection Hat are black. The Short Sited Hat comes in grey. Each hat is priced at $58 USD.
Both hoodies use 12.5 oz fleece with a boxy fit and drop shoulders. The hats are made from washed cotton with six-panel construction, a relaxed crown, and embroidered details on the front and sides.
There is also a Mini Caps Keychain listed alongside the collection for $24 USD. It is available in black, olive, and navy.
100 Thieves x TOWNDUST Collection Availability
The TOWNDUST x 100 Thieves collection is available through the 100 Thieves online store in limited quantities.
Canadian shoppers can order from 100 Thieves, although all prices on the site are listed in U.S. dollars. International orders are shipped delivery duties unpaid, so local customs fees, taxes, and duties are the customer's responsibility.
100 Thieves also says international orders aren't eligible for returns. If you're ordering from Canada, check the size details carefully before buying.
