Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders open on June 25, 2026 at midnight local time, and the price is now front and centre. The Standard Edition is priced at $79.99 USD. Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition comes in at $99.99 USD.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. Canadian pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the first wave of details covers the launch editions, bonuses, pre-loading, and physical release.

Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-Orders Open June 25

Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders begin on June 25, 2026 at midnight local time through PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and participating retailers.

Grand Theft Auto VI follows Jason and Lucia in Vice City and across Leonida after a job that should have been simple goes wrong. From there, a wider conspiracy pulls them across the state. That’s the kind of GTA story setup I’ve been waiting for, and knowing pre-orders are finally opening makes it feel a lot more real.

Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition Unlocks Content Through The Story

Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition is where things get more specific. This isn’t just a few outfits dropped into your inventory at the start of the game. Those extras unlock as Jason and Lucia move through the story.

That includes vehicles, garages, shops, weapons, clothing, tattoos, and character customization. Some of the named extras include the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, ’95 Grotti Cheetah, Dinka Enduro motorcycle, Crest Kayak, Vapid Ganado Retro Build, and Shitzu Squalo.

The Ultimate Edition also includes personalized weapon variants, the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver, Vice City Styles, Goodtime Gear, Stock 305 Clothing Store access, salon options, and more than 50 tattoos from Electric Fang Tattoo.

You can also upgrade to Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition separately if you buy the Standard Edition first.

Vintage Vice City Pack Pre-Order Bonus

The Vintage Vice City Pack is the early-purchase bonus for Grand Theft Auto VI. It includes the ’55 Vapid Stanier, Shore Court Garage, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and an exclusive weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s palm tree look.

Digital purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. Physical pre-orders include the pack only while supplies last, so that’s one detail to check if you’re going physical.

Eligible Digital Pre-Orders Include GTA+

Eligible digital pre-orders also include one free month of GTA+, tied to PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store digital pre-orders. GTA+ includes a monthly GTA$500,000 deposit, free and discounted vehicles, and a rotating games library with classic Rockstar games and other featured games.

The free month can be redeemed immediately after pre-ordering and is limited to one redemption per PlayStation or XBOX account. After that, GTA+ renews monthly at the regular price unless cancelled.

GTA VI Pre-Loading Starts November 12

Digital pre-loading for Grand Theft Auto VI starts on November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Physical copies are also available starting that day, but there’s an important catch.

Physical copies of Grand Theft Auto VI include a download code for the game instead of a disc. Even if you’re buying the case, the game itself still has to be downloaded. That makes the November 12 pre-load window a lot more important, especially for anyone who wants the game ready before launch day.
