Super Earth is sending more heavy metal to the front lines when the Helldivers 2 EXO EXPERTS Warbond arrives on April 28, 2026.
This new gear set focuses on forward-only pressure, giving you advanced exosuits and high-penetration weaponry to handle the toughest Bot and Bug encounters on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Heavy Exosuits for Front Line Support
The mechs are the real heavy hitters here, and the update is bringing two meaningful additions to your stratagem list. The EXO-51 Lumberer returns with an updated design that pairs an anti-tank cannon with a flamethrower. It is built for close-range friction and taking down heavy targets without backing off.
If you need to push through fortified positions, the EXO-55 Breakthrough acts as a mobile fortress. It features a flak cannon for clearing out smaller groups and a ballistic shield for added protection. These mechs change how you approach objectives, especially when your team needs to hold a specific point against a massive wave of enemies.
High Impact Weapons for Stealth and Power
The team at Arrowhead Game Studios is adding three new tools to your primary arsenal designed for high-impact combat. The MGX-42 Bullet Storm is a disposable machine gun that uses caseless ammunition. It is a quick-access option when a mission gets messy.
If you want every shot to hit exactly where you are aiming, the SMG-203 Gallant offers a high rate of fire and increased penetration. You'll trade off magazine size for that extra punch, but it makes a difference against armoured enemies.
The sidearm slot gets an upgrade too. The P-33 Missile Pistol features lock-on targeting, giving you a guided missile option for your secondary weapon. It is a specialized tool that helps when you are caught between stratagem cooldowns.
The New Armour Perks and Customization
This Warbond introduces the Oxygenator Perk on the O-2 Heavy Operator and O-3 Free Spirit armour sets. This feature improves your mobility while staying within Super Earth regulations. You can pair these with new capes like the Watchful Compatriot or the Free Spirited Spangles. Since Helldivers 2 launched on Xbox Series X|S last August, this marks the first major Warbond launch with full parity across all three ecosystems.
