| The Xbox Partner Preview returns this Thursday with updates on some of the year's biggest third-party titles. |
By Jon Scarr
Xbox just confirmed that the Xbox Partner Preview is back this Thursday, March 26. These smaller shows are usually a win because they focus entirely on third-party studios and upcoming games. It's always great to see a dedicated slot for these partners, and this broadcast looks like a solid way to see what's coming to Xbox Series X|S later this year.
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Lead the Pack
We're finally getting a proper view of Stranger Than Heaven. That’s the new one from Ryu Ga Gotoku, and those guys basically never miss when it comes to the Like a Dragon series. It’s always interesting to see what they do when they step outside their comfort zone. Getting a deep dive this soon after the first tease is a pretty big deal.
Sega isn't the only one showing up, though. GSC Game World is bringing an update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. We’ve seen a lot of trailers by now, but a different perspective on the Zone is always worth a watch as the launch gets closer. Owlcat Games is also on the list, so I'm expecting some heavy RPG gameplay to balance out the action stuff.
World Premieres and Game Pass Arrivals
It’s not just updates for old news, either. Xbox is promising some world premieres and brand-new reveals. One highlight is The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. It’s an action-RPG based on the James S.A. Corey series, and if you're a fan of those books, seeing that universe handled as a big RPG is pretty exciting.
And yeah, it wouldn't be an Xbox show without talking about Game Pass. They’ve got specific announcements for the service lined up. I’m betting we’ll find out exactly what’s hitting the library for the rest of March and heading into April.
Watch the Xbox Partner Preview March 2026 This Thursday
The whole thing kicks off Thursday, March 26, at 1pm Eastern / 10am Pacific. You can find it on YouTube and Twitch like usual. If your screen can handle it, stick to the YouTube stream. It’s in 4K at 60fps, and that's really the only way to go if you want the clearest view of these trailers.
I’ll be watching to see what kind of surprises they’ve actually got hidden. It’s a solid lineup for a random Thursday.
