VTech has outlined its 2026 toy lineup at Toy Fair 2026 in New York, focusing on toys that mix learning and play from baby through early elementary years. The range stretches across pretend play, music and performance, and kid-friendly creator tech, with products built to support sensory exploration and hands-on discovery.

The collection includes new role-play sets like Little CEO Learning Desk, 3-in-1 Race & Repair Hauler, and Count On Me Self-Checkout, plus music-focused Kidi Star toys and a new KidiZoom Creator Cam Ultra for kids who want to experiment with video.

Role-Play Toys Explore Everyday Spaces

VTech’s role-play range continues to centre on familiar everyday settings, giving young children a way to explore routines they see at home, at the store, or in grown-up workspaces.

Little CEO Learning Desk turns an office setup into a baby and toddler play space. The desk includes a pretend keyboard, phone, coffee cup, mouse, and a flip-open webcam. Kids can clock in, press buttons, flip book pages, and trigger music and sounds while they play at the desk. It is intended for ages 9–36 months, with everything sized for small hands and early cause-and-effect play.

3-in-1 Race & Repair Hauler is a transforming truck that moves between three modes: car carrier, race track, and repair shop. In carrier mode, the big rig can hold the three included vehicles with space for more. When it is opened up into a raceway, kids can send the cars down a track. Switching to repair shop mode adds tools and prompts for pretend tune-ups with a lion mechanic character. The playset recognises each vehicle and responds with learning prompts tied to colours, numbers, and shapes, geared toward children ages 12–36 months.

Count On Me Self-Checkout shifts the focus to store play. The set supports five shopping activities and comes with about 70 pieces, including food items, coins, paper money, a credit card, and a basket. Kids can scan items, use the card reader, or drop coins into a count-along slot, getting simple prompts about numbers and money as they go. It is aimed at ages 3–6 and uses role-play to introduce early counting and handling pretend payments.

Music Toys Aim At Kids Who Want To Perform

VTech is also expanding its music-focused line with toys built around performance and play-along features for older kids.

Kidi Star DJ Mixer Pro approaches music play from a DJ angle. Kids can remix 15 built-in songs or connect an external music player with an audio cable or Bluetooth. The mixer includes a small keyboard, a sound grid, and a scratch pad so kids can layer sounds and create simple remixes. Sliders let them adjust vocals and effects, and there are options to record custom sound bites and mashups. Rhythm-based games are built in, and the unit has party lights and a speaker, along with a headphone jack. It is aimed at kids 5 and up who want to experiment with beats and mixes rather than traditional instruments.

Kidi Star Rockstar Guitar is a kid-sized guitar that includes 30 built-in songs, six music modes, and multiple guitar styles to switch between. Real strings and a light-up fretboard guide kids as they follow along or try their own patterns. A whammy bar and motion sensor add effects when kids move the guitar. Bluetooth support lets a music player connect so children can play along with their own tracks, and built-in rhythm games add basic timing challenges. A speaker and headphone jack give the option for shared play or quieter practice. The guitar is recommended for ages 5 and up, and the neck folds for easier storage or travel.

Creator Tech Encourages Kids To Experiment With Video

On the tech side, VTech is updating its kid creator lineup with the KidiZoom Creator Cam Ultra, a high-definition video camera kit designed for children 5 and older.

The camera includes a flip-up lens for both regular shots and selfies, plus a tabletop tripod that doubles as a selfie stick. Kids can record video, apply editing tools on-screen, and use effects like time-lapse and trick shots without needing a separate device.

A green screen is included in the box, along with more than 20 animated backgrounds. Children can place themselves in scenes like dinosaur chases or underwater adventures, or remove parts of the background entirely. More than 40 interactive effects respond to hand movements, letting kids trigger changes by waving or moving in front of the camera.

The goal is to give kids a controlled way to explore video creation, with tools that introduce basic editing and special effects while keeping everything inside a kid-focused device.

VTech’s Toy Fair 2026 range brings these strands together into a single lineup, with toys that span early pretend play, music and performance, and digital creativity for kids who are starting to explore how they want to play and express themselves.
