KONAMI shared the first full trailer for SILENT HILL: Townfall during PlayStation’s latest State of Play, offering a clearer look at the next entry in the long-running horror series.

Developed by Screen Burn and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and KONAMI, SILENT HILL: Townfall is a full-length, self-contained psychological horror set against an isolated backdrop in Scotland. The game is planned for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

A New Lead and a Town That Doesn’t Feel Empty

The game follows Simon Ordell, who arrives on the island town of St. Amelia with little context beyond an IV bag and a medical wristband bearing his name. As he moves through the fog-drenched streets, strange voices begin cutting through the static of a CRTV he carries, pulling him deeper into the town.

The trailer presents St. Amelia as a place that looks abandoned at first glance, but repeatedly hints that something is still active beneath the surface as Simon uncovers fragments tied to the town’s past.

First-Person Exploration With Limited Tools

SILENT HILL: Townfall is experienced entirely in first person. Simon has access to a limited set of weapons and tools, including the CRTV, a portable television used to tune into unstable signals. Story-driven puzzles appear to play a central role in revealing what’s happening within St. Amelia.
