Capcom used PlayStation’s latest State of Play to share extended looks at two upcoming games, Resident Evil Requiem and PRAGMATA. Both games are locked in for spring, with Resident Evil Requiem arriving on February 27 and PRAGMATA following on April 24.

Rather than quick teasers, Capcom shared longer footage for both games. The updates offered a clearer look at how each game plays, how their characters are structured, and what separates them from Capcom’s recent releases.

Resident Evil Requiem Balances Dual Perspectives and Split Protagonists

Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline entry in the series, and the new trailer highlights how it combines survival horror with more action-driven moments. The game follows two protagonists: FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and longtime series character Leon S. Kennedy.

Grace’s sections centre on investigation and survival, while Leon’s segments shift toward faster, combat-heavy encounters. You can switch between first-person and third-person views at will, which lets you change how each section plays without locking the experience to a single perspective.

Capcom also introduced several supporting characters. Emily is a young girl Grace encounters inside the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center. Nathan Dempsey serves as Grace’s FBI supervisor and connects directly to the investigation driving the story. Victor Gideon, a former Umbrella Corporation researcher tied to T-Virus development, is identified as a key suspect behind a series of unexplained deaths.

PRAGMATA Expands Its Lunar City and Shows Growing Interest Through Its Demo

PRAGMATA’s new trailer moves deeper into its lunar research station setting, revealing a distorted urban space inspired by Times Square. The area is created using Lunafilament and advanced 3D printing, forming a cityscape that looks familiar while clearly out of place on the Moon.

The footage shows more interaction between Hugh and Diana as they navigate the station together. Their relationship continues to shape how exploration and combat unfold, especially as hostile AI and robotic enemies close in.

Capcom also confirmed strong early interest in the game’s demo. The PRAGMATA Sketchbook demo, which launched on consoles late last week, has passed one million downloads. The demo is available now on PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox Store, and PC, and includes unlockables like the Scribble Suit alongside hidden extras that reward repeat runs.

PRAGMATA launches April 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are open now, with bonus cosmetic outfits included. A Deluxe Edition is also available, adding extra costumes, an additional weapon skin, emotes, music for the Shelter hub, and a digital art collection.
