AirConsole has launched on select Škoda electric vehicles in Europe, bringing in-car gaming to the brand’s infotainment systems. As part of the rollout, Tetris is arriving as a six-month Škoda-exclusive title built specifically for in-car play.

The launch supports Škoda EVs including the Enyaq running Software Version 4.0 or later, along with the Škoda Elroq. Drivers and passengers can play games directly on the vehicle’s infotainment display using their smartphones as controllers.

How AirConsole Works in Škoda Vehicles

AirConsole is built around parked play, allowing games to be played during charging stops, waiting periods, or breaks without requiring extra hardware. Smartphones connect to the system and act as controllers, avoiding touch interaction with the dashboard screen.

The app comes pre-installed on supported vehicles and is available through Škoda’s Media Streaming package. Depending on the game and vehicle configuration, up to five players can take part at the same time.

Tetris Arrives as a Škoda Exclusive

Tetris launches alongside the AirConsole rollout as a Škoda-exclusive title for six months. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer play and has been adapted to work with smartphone controls rather than direct touch input on the infotainment screen.

Play sessions are designed to fit into shorter parked moments, making it suitable for shared play between passengers without relying on consoles or external devices.

Additional Games Available at Launch

Alongside Tetris, Škoda drivers gain access to a curated library of 14 casual games through AirConsole. The lineup includes party, trivia, arcade, sports, and puzzle titles.

Available games include UNO Car Party and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, among others. The service is available in EU countries and is tied directly to Škoda’s in-car Media Streaming offering.

AirConsole Rolls Out on Škoda EVs

The AirConsole launch adds in-car gaming directly through Škoda’s infotainment system without requiring extra hardware. Games are controlled using smartphones, allowing multiple players to join in while the vehicle is parked, whether during charging stops or breaks on longer trips.

The rollout is led by a six-month exclusive version of Tetris, adapted for the in-car environment and playable in both solo and multiplayer modes. Beyond Tetris, Škoda drivers also gain access to a broader catalog of casual games, including party and trivia titles, all available through the Media Streaming package. Support for up to five players varies by game and vehicle configuration.
