Ubisoft has announced a new senior leadership appointment, naming Valentine Piedelievre-Eman as its Chief Communications Officer.

The appointment was confirmed today, with Piedelievre-Eman set to officially step into the role on February 2. In the position, she will oversee Ubisoft’s global communications and corporate brand strategy, aligning internal and external messaging with the company’s creative direction and long-term goals.

In her role as CCO, Piedelievre-Eman will report to Cécile Russeil, Ubisoft’s Executive Vice President in charge of Communications, Corporate Affairs, DIA, Human Resources, and Legal. She will also work closely with Ubisoft’s executive leadership and teams across the company’s global studios and offices.

Russeil described the appointment as part of Ubisoft’s broader transformation, pointing to Piedelievre-Eman’s strategic background and experience across international entertainment and technology organizations. According to Ubisoft, the move reflects an effort to position communications as a more central, narrative-driven function within the company.

Before joining Ubisoft, Piedelievre-Eman served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Western Europe and Africa at Warner Bros. Discovery. In that role, she led communications efforts across multiple regions and business units, including Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO Max, Discovery, and Eurosport. Her previous experience also includes senior communications roles at Expleo, SAP, and the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Earlier in her career, Piedelievre-Eman worked as a journalist, contributing to organizations such as the Associated Press and Bloomberg, as well as several French media outlets, where she served as a UK correspondent.

Ubisoft says the appointment supports its ongoing efforts to strengthen how the company communicates with teams, players, and partners as it continues to evolve its business and creative strategy. The appointment follows a period of internal change at Ubisoft, including recent restructuring moves that affected studios in Canada.
