Kinder Joy is teaming up with Nintendo for a limited-edition Super Mario collectible line that’s rolling out across U.S. retailers through April 2026. The collaboration brings Mushroom Kingdom characters into Kinder Joy eggs, pairing a familiar treat with a rotating set of Mario-themed toys.
The collection includes 26 different Super Mario collectibles, ranging from small 3D figures to clips, decorations, and functional accessories. Characters like Mario, Yoshi, Boo, Spiny, and the Super Star are all part of the lineup, with each egg offering a surprise element that taps into the same reveal-driven appeal the series is known for.
Rather than sticking to a single toy format, the collection mixes things up. Some eggs include figurines, while others feature zipper pulls, pen toppers, photo holders, or mini clips built around classic Mario imagery like Question Blocks and longtime enemies. That variety gives the lineup more replay value for collectors, especially for families picking these up more than once.
The collaboration is designed to lean into cross-generational nostalgia. Parents who grew up with Super Mario get a familiar hit of franchise iconography, while kids get something tangible tied to characters they still see in games, movies, and merchandise today. Kinder Joy’s layered packaging fits that idea well, combining a treat with a collectible reveal in a single package.
At the time of writing, there’s been no announcement regarding a Canadian release. Ferrero’s messaging around the Super Mario Kinder Joy collection is focused on U.S. retailers, and there’s been no confirmation yet on whether the lineup will extend to Canada.
The Super Mario Kinder Joy collection is available now at major U.S. retailers and is expected to remain on shelves through April 2026. If a Canadian release is announced, we’ll update with regional availability details.
