A little magic and a lot of heart are coming together this year. Basic Fun! has officially revealed a new Harry Potter x Care Bears plush collection, celebrating 25 years of Harry Potter with a crossover that blends Hogwarts house pride with classic Care Bears charm.
The collection launches worldwide this spring across North America, the UK, and the EU, giving fans and collectors a new way to celebrate two franchises that have spanned generations.
Care Bears Meet the Hogwarts Houses
The Harry Potter x Care Bears lineup reimagines familiar Care Bears characters as members of the four Hogwarts houses, complete with robes, scarves, and house colours. Each plush also features the official Harry Potter 25th Anniversary logo, marking the milestone year.
12-Inch Plush Hoodie Assortment
The larger 12-inch plushies come dressed in soft mascot hoodies layered over Hogwarts robes and scarves. This assortment includes:

The smaller 8-inch House Bears focus on a more traditional plush design while still showcasing Hogwarts robes, scarves, and house crests. This set includes:

I spotted two Harry Potter x Care Bears 2-packs on shelves at Walmart Canada this week: the Ravenclaw Wish Bear & Slytherin Grumpy Bear 2-Pack and the Gryffindor Tenderheart Bear & Hufflepuff Love-a-Lot Bear 2-Pack. Availability may vary by location, with additional plush options expected to roll out more widely closer to the official spring launch.
For collectors, longtime Care Bears fans, and Harry Potter enthusiasts alike, this crossover feels less like a novelty and more like a warm celebration of fandom, nostalgia, and shared imagination.
