| Bluey arrives in Minecraft with a new DLC inspired by Bluey’s House. |
By Juli Scarr
If you or someone in your house spends time with Bluey and Minecraft, the two are about to cross paths. BBC Studios has confirmed that Bluey DLC: Bluey’s House is launching on February 5, bringing the animated series into Minecraft as a playable experience for the first time.
The DLC is being developed by Jigarbov Productions in partnership with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, and it will be available through the Minecraft Marketplace on Bedrock platforms. It is designed as a light, interactive way to explore Bluey’s world using the tools and structure Minecraft players already know.
Exploring Bluey’s House Inside Minecraft
The DLC drops you directly into Bluey’s home, rebuilt inside Minecraft. From there, you can move through different rooms, interact with familiar characters, and take part in activities inspired by the show.
You will meet Bluey, Bingo, Mum, and Dad, and progress by finding hidden keys that open up new areas of the house. As you explore, you will run into mini-games and moments pulled from the series, including:
- I-Spy
- Hide and Seek
- Ragdoll-style activities
- Small interactive surprises tied to the environment
You can play on your own or with others, and the experience is built to feel relaxed rather than goal-driven. It is less about completing objectives and more about exploring, discovering details, and enjoying the space.
Why This Fits Minecraft So Well
Minecraft already works as a creative sandbox, which makes it a natural place for something like Bluey to live. Instead of forcing the show into a traditional game format, this DLC focuses on exploration and imagination, which lines up closely with how Bluey works as a series.
BBC Studios has described this release as part of a broader push to let its properties live beyond the screen. In this case, that means giving you a way to interact with Bluey’s world rather than only watching it.
If you are already familiar with Minecraft, nothing here should feel complicated. If you are coming in as a Bluey fan first, the setup should still feel approachable and easy to navigate.
A Free Item You Can Grab Right Now
To go along with the launch, Minecraft Bedrock players can also grab a free Chattermax Mask from the Marketplace. It will be available until March 6, after which it will become a paid item.
It is a small bonus, but a fun one if you want something extra tied to the crossover.
Release Details
Bluey’s House launches globally on February 5 through the Minecraft Marketplace on Bedrock platforms.
If you already play Minecraft, this is an easy way to jump into something new without learning a new system. If you are a Bluey fan, it is another example of how the series continues to expand into interactive spaces in a way that feels natural rather than forced.
