AnimeJapan has officially announced its full lineup for 2026, confirming plans for its largest event to date. The annual anime showcase will take place on March 28 and 29, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight, with ticket sales now open.
Organizers confirmed that AnimeJapan 2026 will feature more than 120 exhibitors and a total of 50 stage programs, marking the biggest edition of the event since its debut in 2014. The expanded show floor will span the East Exhibition Halls, South Exhibition Halls, and the Rooftop Exhibition Area.
Full Stage Lineup Announced
As part of the announcement, AnimeJapan released AnimeJapan KICK OFF 2026, a preview video outlining the full stage schedule for the event.
Confirmed series appearing across the event’s stage programming include:
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
- JUJUTSU KAISEN
- ONE PIECE
- Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
Stage events will take place across four dedicated venues, including the RED STAGE, GREEN STAGE, BLUE STAGE, and WHITE STAGE, with appearances, presentations, and announcements scheduled throughout both public days.

Tickets and Entry Information
General admission tickets for AnimeJapan 2026 are now available. Entry provides access to the exhibition floor, while stage events require a separate lottery-based application.
Admission Ticket (with Stage Lottery Application)
Sales period: January 16 – February 24, 2026
Price: ¥2,500 per day
Admission Ticket (without Stage Lottery)
Sales period: February 25 – March 27, 2026
Price: ¥2,500 per day
Children under 12 may attend for free, though a ticket is required to enter stage programs. All tickets are issued digitally and accessed via web browser at the venue.

Exhibits and On-Site Attractions
AnimeJapan 2026 will once again feature a wide range of exhibits and themed areas across the venue.
- Official merchandise booths featuring event-exclusive items
- The Production Works Gallery, focusing on anime production roles
- Cosplayer’s World, with designated photography and changing areas
- A dedicated Food Park with themed menu items
- The return of the AnimeJapan Digital Stamp Rally
The event will also include the annual “Manga We Want to See Animated” ranking, with results announced ahead of the show.
